The guest drummer is Beto Ramos, Pau’s drum coach. The song was written as an answer to their Mexican critics who complained that they only sang in English. Over the years haters have complained that their dad bought them their career; that he was a producer on the Ellen show; that they are cultural traitors for singing in English only. None of that is true. Yes, they grew up in an upper middle class family and their parents bought them their first instruments and music lessons. Now they are sponsored by a number of music brands and get instruments free or at very reduced rates. But their career is due to hard work and talent. They sing in English because that was what they were exposed to in their youth - rock in English; their parents are rock enthusiasts. Pau is pronounced POW! Paw is a part of an animal.

@@ChadeoYT I was trying to be Pauian/Shakespearian and hint at two meanings: One she attacks the drums and the vocals like and animal and pop culutral reference to Animal, the drummer from the Muppets. You have managed to add a third layer. Proving the rule of writing: never assume the reader will read what you did into the words!
No one has any idea what Pau (POW! like the sound she makes) is going to do when she is out from behind her kit. So Dany and Ale were improvising and Pau was out of the good lighting half the time. Anyway, great performance!

Don't worry, it's not people like you they were talking about. It's an angry song aimed at their Mexican critics for calling them cultural traitors for singing in English. So they wrote a song in Spanish telling the critics to go F off. The drummer here is Pau's longtime drum teacher Beto Ramos and now helps with a number of things for their Mexican shows (including the recording of this concert.) It always makes me happy to see Pau released from her kit. She has crazy frontwoman charisma just like Dany.
We asked DPA about the meaning behind Narcisista at the time of its release, and they literally said, “it is NOT an angry song…”.(Pau’s exact words) nor a F off.

Although to be fair they also have very dedicated and numerous fans in Mexico, it's a shame that so many people in their country feel so badly about the success of these women. So much envy from anonymous mediocre people.
I can understand if someone doesn't like their music, but to go as far as to personally insult someone you don't know has always seemed especially despicable to me. Malinchista is the offensive word they use in Mexico to refer to someone who turns their back on their culture; something pretty stupid just because they sing in English, when the girls always parade their Mexican pride wherever they go. And "whitexican" is even worse, which refers to lighter-skinned northerners who tend to belong to wealthier families, a kind of reverse racism.
Urban legend says that the first version of the song was much harsher, but that they softened it after talking in family; I really don't know the veracity of this. But hey, I think they've learned to accept that unfortunately with tremendous success comes this kind of sleazy behavior.
PS: Pau is a whirlwind of energy. If she focused on vocal training she could be a frontwoman in any band in the world.
