I had the wonderful opportunity to have Dr. Osvat as a mentor and friend. She was instrumental in shaping my career as a psychologist. I owe sooo much to her. I never knew much of her early life. She just never brought it up. She was an inspiring and charismatic person which becomes more and more evident as you watch this extraordinary video. Tim Laughlin
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with this remarkable woman. She has sooo much joy, grace, charm and resilience. You are blessed to have known her.
Martha's sense of humor served her well. She was also blessed to be with her mother- so many girls gave up when they were sheltered all their lives until they were yanked into a struggle to survive. They must have been in shock and it's amazing that any of them had good lives and families later. SALUTE Martha!
Well said:)
I just love her spirit . She is wonderful God bless her
Such bravery to share her story
I'm so glad that this beautiful woman was able to retain her sense of humor. I'm a Traditional Catholic. God bless this lovely lady.
I am so taken by this beautiful and charming woman. Her unconquerable spirit is so endearing. It is incomprehensible what she suffered, but maintained grace and gratitude. She is also very talented and I love her little song and her beautiful poetry.
This beautiful lady has a lovely sense of humour, amazing after what she went through great singing xx
What a wonderful lady. She has two completely different faces - her smiling face and her serious face - could be a different person altogether. Beautiful smile and spirit.
This woman is amazing and her poem is just absolutely stunning
Thank you for sharing, heart breaking experience. Appreciate reliving the nightmare to inform people about the atrocities, without which we would be blind. once again i thank you.
The Survivor was elegant, graceful, intelligent. And she certainly put the interviewer in her place with elevated manners.
It was a story worth telling. Too bad the interviewer asked awkward questions that were not appropriate.
But I feel Martha prevailed in telling her story in the way that she wished to be remembered.
Lovely, elegant lady. The interviewer should have studied the region and situation with the Hungarians before the interview.
You have to get rid of the first 40 seconds. It's just color bars and everybody thinks that the video is faulty and skips to the next.
listening to her reading,?her poem made me cry,
thank you for the testimony, I can see the pain and suffering in her face, she doesn’t hide it
So many of these testimonies I have listened to you can't hear. And it is such a shame.
Buy a plug in speaker- my Bose was $40.00 at a pawn shop and I never use my laptop without it.
Hola, pueden poner traductor en subtítulos, es testimonio para la humanidad
I find the interviewers so insensitive in their style.
I agree. Especially Dina Gottliebová-Babbitt one.
I also agree. They are abrupt and distant.
They should be quiet as much as possible, and let the survivor speak. Almost all these survivors are dead.
