Long time ago, I bought the Accept- Restless And Wild album in 1983. It was on Heavy Metal Worldwide Records and it was clear vinyl. I liked the cover Destruction did here. 🇩🇪 🤘🎸

I hate using new internet sayings but this is a song i didn't know i needed. Fucking fantastic. I first heard "Shark" in HS in 83 or 84. I was a young metalhead into Priest. Motorhead, Saxon etc and my friend hands me his cassette Walkman and says listen to this...i put the headphones on and he pressed play. The German singing. The record being scratched by the needle and im like WTF am I listening to? LOL Then the guitars and Udos svream come in and I'm on the Concorde flying at Mach 3! The song ends and he wants the Walkman back. Yea, fat chance , Restless and Wild already started. The chugging bass line and drums keeping military time is hypnotic. Fuck dude, thank you! Here's your Walkman, whats the name of the band and album because im buying this shit tomorrow. LOL
My local record store didnt have it but had Balls to the Wall that was just released so I bought that instead. A week later I got R & W at another store. Great time's discovering new bands. A few month's later I saw a cheesy skeleton climbing out of a grave on a LP cover and immediately pucked it up. The song titles were Mad Butcher, Black Mass, Satan's Vengeance etc. Ill take it! LOL thats how we did it in 1985. If the songs have evil or cool sounding titles we bought it. If the band had too much hairspray and makeup on we left it for the posers to buy. LOL Accept and Destruction together is like putting chocolate in my peanut butter. 😁🤘 or Jack Daniel's in my ginger ale. No Coke, thats gross, sorry Lemmy. ❤😊
