Kind of have a really random question that I was thinking about: I noticed in the ERTMS handbook that there's rollaway protection, but notably it didn't state that it was available in mode SN. Does that mean that it's only active in the ETCS modes they stated? And assumedly if wanted and it isn't, then it could be made to be active under SN modes too?
@@johnalexander995: Ah, thank you very much! I was kind of curious about it considering it was rolled in (ha!) to the ATP systems and how e.g. London Underground require it fitted (of course the question is probably one for quite some time in the future, if/when ERTMS comes to the Chiltern Lines!)

According to Subset 026, Chapter 4 you are correct that rollaway protection is not an active function in SN.
