One of my criteria for ice cream is that it actually melts. so many of them have so much stabilizer junk in them that they don't melt, they just thaw into room temperature foam.
For those of you who have Culver's restaurants, about a year or so ago they introduced a new flavor of frozen custard, Dark Chocolate Decadence. It's fabulous! They also sell variants, Devil's Food Cake (with cake pieces mixed in) and Midnight Toffee (with toffee mixed in). I upload reminders to my calendar when they're the designated flavor of the day.
Culver's frozen custard is amazing! My wife and I love Culver's. It's our go to if we get the chance to have lunch together. I guess I have become a frozen custard snob because I always get a little upset when I hear someone at another table ask if anyone wants ice cream.
Turkey Hill I haven’t seen in WA. Tillamook is the PNW favorite
I hadn't seen it in Utah but I just checked their website and it says it's available at the Kroger stores around here. I'll have to try it.
@@cmkirn Kroger in Indy sells Turkey Hill and recently Tillamook dairy products have been sold there as well. I don't remember seeing Tillamook ice cream, they all have to pay for the crowded shelf space.
People need to read ingredient labels. Haagen Dazs has much better ingredients than Turkey Hill.
For those who are lactose intolerant, I highly recommend Lactaid ice cream.
Turkey Hill is from Lancaster County Pa, Amish country. It’s been a Philly staple for decades here.
If you’re getting Turkey Hill, Make sure to read the carton and you get real ice cream and not frozen dairy dessert. It’s made with vegetable oils and is disgusting.
This is very true. I used to love Turkey Hill’s Butter Pecan premium. I unknowingly bought the frozen dessert, I was very disappointed. I can’t find the premium anymore, just the cheap version.
I had some chocolate ice cream from Turkey Hill a month ago. I didn't buy it, a friend of mine just showed up with it. It had a resinous, almost plasticky mouth feel. Absolutely repulsive.
The best Chocolate Ice Cream Brand is which ever one you're eating right now.
I've been making my own with 3 ingredients. Heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and dark cocoa powder. So easy and so good.
I didn't see Tillamook! It is from Oregon but distributed all the way back east and always gets my vote.
Tillamook Mudslide all the way! From Oregon but live in Fort Worth and we are so happy we can still buy it.
Tillamook is nearly all I buy anymore. It’s the best across the board. No matter the flavor, it’s gonna be great!
Orange’n’ Cream, Strawberry, Peaches’n’ Cream, Mudslide, chocolate, Vanilla…it’s the best!
Here in North Carolina, we get their cheese, too. It’s about the best cheese in production IMHO 😊
Well they haven't tried Tillamook, hands down the best ice cream out there.
OMG! Whenever y'all are in the Atlanta area, you have to go to Panorama farms in Ellijay Georgia. They have homemade ice cream that they make themselves, all of their other flavors are really good ice cream but... Their chocolate ice cream is to die for! I'm not a big fan of deep rich chocolate dark chocolate mind you, but this ice cream really takes the cake, LOL. It's really creamy and really fudgy and chocolatey. I don't know how they do it, you can tell it's premium ice cream, but the chocolate flavor is really deep. So whenever you're in Atlanta area, take about an hour and a half Drive up route 575 to Ellijay Georgia, Panorama Farms. It's an apple farm and they have a little farm store that has touristy stuff. A nice day drive..... oh, and get yourself some of that deep rich chocolate delight!
I wish that ATK demonstrated an awareness they are aware they are often "East Coast Centric." This is a perfect example where a product they are testing is not widely available on the west coast, nor are they testing products from the west coast. This happens very often in their food product testing and should remedy this situation so that their products represent a wider geographical
spectrum.
They do, but a LOT of things just aren't widely available literally everywhere. But these should be available to some degree in almost every state.
Google the company's store locator.
Bread was so bad they had to do a East and West winner. No one supplies bread to more than about half the country as it turns out.
Turkey Hill is by far my favorite ice cream. Their Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream is amazing!
Strange choices! Blue Bell rings my bell! Especially their Dutch Chocolate. Years ago their cartons "said" WE EAT ALL WE CAN AND SELL THE REST.
can't get Blue Bell in Massachusetts, so it didn't make the panel, or else is sure would have won.
Yep, I lived most of my life in Texas and it was Blue Bell all the way! Now I'm in North Missouri and no one carries it up here😢
Luckily we do at least have turkey hill and it's not bad...
@@brt5273if you ever travel down through the St. Louis area, they have Blue Bell in stores there. The Gooey Butter Cake variety is amazing.
It still says it. I was at Food Lion in North Carolina when I read your comment (I was asking Google what Dutch Chocolate ice cream tastes like) and there was one Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate left. I read the back of the package and it says "... we eat all we can and then sell the rest." 😂
To often they pick brand that are not available on the west coast. Never heard of turkey hill.
Think of a light weight Carnation, whipped up with a lot of air and very fast melting. Little body.
Best chocolate ice cream is Tillamook. Spoons down.
PinkTigger33 --------- YES !!!! Tillamook Mudslide specifically--- Amazing !!!!
I guess they never heard of Tillamook ice cream. It's made in Oregon and it is sure DARN GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah Tillamook is not as good as Haagen Daz and it's not considered super premium.
They never mentioned the quality of the milk in the ice cream. Not all milk is the same. Tillamook dairy cows give the best milk.
I appreciate all of your videos, thank you.
Haagen Dazs chocolate, HANDS-DOWN!
Love these tasting videos. Thanks
Haagen Dazs is my fave too.
If you ever see Häagen-Dazs 'Belgian Chocolate' ice cream, you might find it even better than their regular 'Chocolate' ice cream. Hopefully Häagen-Dazs' online store locator can track down this wonderful chocolate variety for you.
Aldi's has a super premium ice cream in their Specially Selected brand that is my go to since they moved into the area a couple years ago. Only 4 ingredients (5 for chocolate) and all of them are real food, no gums or stabilizers. Better than Haagen Dazs and far less expensive.
I just posted this as a response to someone else! This ice cream is sooooo good! I buy the vanilla all the time.
Gonna have to try this
I've tried their gallon ice cream and wasn't impressed But I generally am impressed with Aldi's
It is cheaper because it is Aldi's own brand, and sell in their own store. Can't compare to Haagen Dazs, since they are not the same level in terms of business practices.
@@houchi69 yeah that's pretty much Aldi's thing. I don't see why you can't compare them.
Always go with Haagen Dazs!
It's Cherry Vanilla all the way with Coconut Pineapple second but there are no bad ones!
I agree, but in the HD store, not pre-packaged in the super market.
@@michaelwertzy9808 Coffee ice cream is the acid test for me, when judging any brand's ice cream. HD is still the best. Once, years ago - no, decades ago - Ben & Jerry's made plain flavors available without all the crap they usually put in their ice cream, and I bought their plain coffee, thinking that it would be superior in every way, but it wasn't at all; it was bland-tasting. I was surprised and disappointed - but ever since, I've always gone back to HD.
Jack: chocolate this.. chocolate that
Bridget: pretend to listen while enjoying her ice cream LOL
Bridget is getting more and more annoying. I like all the testers and cooks, but don’t care for the hosts.
I bet it just broke her heart to be forced to eat three dishes of chocolate ice cream for science....
Just look at the ingredients. If it has more than 5 or 6 ingredients it's not good. Guar gum, cornstarch, carrageenan and corn syrup don't belong in ice cream.
Bluebell Great Divide (choc and vanilla). Divine!
Yes!! Turkey Hill ice cream has been my favorite for years, especially the Columbian Coffee and Chocolate flavors. 😋😋😋
Original vanilla is mine! Have 4 in freezer...any less and I go into panic mode! 😆 🤣 😂
I never heard of this…but in Tx, Blue Bell reigns supreme. I don’t like it, prefer Breyer’s, but since our store introduced Tillamook first with cheese (their extra sharp Cheddar is the best) then ice cream, we like this best.
I just love watching you both
1-Graeters
2-Tillamook
3-Blue Bell (for the Texans)
4- everything else
It would be nice if ATK used brands available nationally for testing & tasting. Out here in CA where I'm living, or TX where I'm from, never heard of Turkey Hill.
It’s here, just very hard to find. I think it was released widely, didn’t do well, and retreated to fewer stores.
Turkey Hill is easily available in the D/FW area, I’ll take it over Blue Bell any day.
I absolutely agree with Turkey Hill. It is delicious.
Again, they don’t include Blue Bell Dutch which is my husband’s favorite. But, since we bought Tillamook, it was the end of BB. Kroger used to have a “Death by Chocolate” and I don’t know why or when they stopped making and selling it.
I make my own ice cream any flavor I feel. I use my KitchenAid stand mixer. (The bowls can to be purchased separately for around $50) It’s lots of fun and the grandkids love it! Incase anyone was wandering... It’s NOT less expensive to make your own ice cream in fact it’s a lot more! Although, Häagen-Dazs does rock! 😋
Blue bell, Breyer's, Tillamook, Haagen Daz, Talenti, I love ice cream! For me it's certain flavors for certain brands!
My favorite ever...Willie Nelson peach cobbler of Ben & Jerry's brand! yum yum yummy!
There’s also Turkey Hill “All Natural” which pretty much means it’s creamier. So good.
Their all natural is the only ice cream that does not make me sick after eating it, so good like hand churned from the old days
The Turkey Hill we have locally is made in Conestoga, Pennsylvania. I like Breyers and Hershey Ice Cream also. Hershey Ice Cream is not connected to Hershey Foods/Candy company.
I have to concur with Jack and Bridget, of the brands tested, Haagen Dazs is best... but I'm lucky enough to live on the west coast, and our friends from Or are right, Tillamook is best.
Tillamook tastes good, but has too much air so the texture is not as good as haagen daaz or ben and jerrys. Its probably the best of the major brands that sell in the large size though. Way better than breyers/dreyers.
I'll take the one with minimal ingredients and no corn syrup/HFCS and preservatives, thank you.
our local ice cream (graeters) is made using the french pot method...it is the richest and creamiest ice cream on the planet!
It will be interesting to put Graeter's "Double Chocolate Chip" head-to-head with a pint of Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream's "Darkest Chocolate" (also made in Ohio), which took over 5 years to develop and boldly claims: "This is the chocolate ice cream to ruin all other chocolate ice creams." (Jeni's also makes a 'Milkiest Chocolate') Yet, looking at the nutritional labels, Graeter's probably has it beat on texture (Total Fat 27g/Saturated Fat 15g) vs Jeni's (Total Fat 16g/Saturated Fat 10g) undoubtedly due to the cream content. Hope you can test both too!
Graeters is over shadowed by Jeni's locally (fine by me), but for many ice cream purists, Graeters is the way to go. It's our special treat when we are going out specifically for ice cream. Although, Chocolate Haagen Dazs is what is in my home freezer.
@@mynocturnallife If you ever see Häagen-Dazs 'Belgian Chocolate' ice cream, you might find it even better than their regular 'Chocolate' ice cream. Hopefully Häagen-Dazs' online store locator can track down this wonderful chocolate variety for you. I did a comparison with it, Jeni's and Graeter's and (taste-wise) prefer this variety, though all of these particular chocolate ice creams are wonderful. Still, based on some other comments, hope to try Trader Joe's and Aldi's chocolate ice creams.
Turkey Hill makes fantastic French Vanilla ice cream. My fave!
Perry's Ice Cream in Western NY. The best. I miss it.
Hi! We have it in NYC; sold @ Key Food (Urban Meadow) branded supermarkets. It is good...reminds me of old school Dolly Madison!
I didn't see my two go-to brands for chocolate ice cream: Blue Bell and Tillamook (and Publix has a good store- brand ice cream as well).
I've often suspected that "slow churned" is code for "we added more air." Now I know. If I'm gonna have ice cream I want *ice cream* not flavored air.
@@MRony But with an extra-large amount of air there's less ice cream per package.
No, it's not code for "we added more air." It's actually a very interesting bit of food chemistry (which isn't per se a bad thing, as things like cheese and beer and yogurt are in no way "natural" and are the height of food chemistry).
They developed a process to break up the blobs of fat into much smaller blobs than you'd normally be able to produce. That lets them use less fat, but spread it out further into the ice cream. That gives it a very similar mouthfeel to a much higher fat ice cream. No, it's not the most amazing ice cream, but it's pretty good to me (depending on the flavor, which is true of many ice creams).
I respect them for making a process to do that versus most "low fat" ice creams that instead pump the sugar up by an amazing amount, or put weird tasting alcohol sugars like xylitol or sorbitol or even worse awful stuff like aspartame or splenda in there. The slow churned stuff managed to get both the fat AND calories cut by a significant amount without resorting to any of that.
Yeah, they have a few thickeners that aren't great, at least in the non-premium ice creams. But here's the weird thing: in the US/Canada, Häagen-Dazs is actually produced by.... DREYERS (aka Edy's). And back about 15 years ago, they came out with a Häagen-Dazs Premium Light Ice cream line and it was amazing. It was a premium ice cream, so it didn't use thickeners and stuff like most non-premium lines. It also had more fat (though still broken up using its super-homogenization process) than non-premium ice cream. They had a lot of the same HD flavors like Rocky Road and Mint Chip. But then they discontinued it because there wasn't enough of a market for low(er) fat premium ice cream. Which was a shame, because it had near-premium taste for about the same fat/calorie content as non-premium. It was my go-to ice cream.
Oddly enough, I liked the slow churned mint chip recipe better, as it was less eggy and more of a "clean" mint flavor. I still miss it to this day.
Love this show. The camera man was like chocolate ice cream, chocolate people. 🎥📽
TheAnthonyable 😂 for real though I like they looked so interested in them talking about ice cream
Yeah, um can we take an ice cream break now please? It’s the perfect indoor snack for nonstop jobs (like cameramen).
Blue Bunny is what my family eats
I love Blue Bunny vanilla. Will try their chocolate. Hard to find here in San Diego.
Breyer's used to be the best ice cream, period. Then they got bought out and perverted. Now it's worthless. In Penna, Turkey Hill All Natural Ice Cream is the best approximation I've ever found. Ingredients: Vanilla, Cocoa, Milk, Sugar. That's it. It's fabulous. I made this comment before I watched the video.
oldcougar65 -Agreed. I grew up with Breyer’s and loved their vanilla (with tiny specks of real vanilla in it). Now it’s crap. Another childhood memory bought out by big business.
Oldcougar65......I so agree. I shop at Kroger here in Michigan. There's no heavy or milky after taste, very refreshing. I usually buy the half chocolate/ half vanilla in the natural.
@@Alexagrigorieff
You can sit the carton of Breyer's out on the counter all night. It'll never melt. Disgusting chemicals.
I have missed you...haven't had a tv in a while, but here you are on you tube
As a child my favorite flavor of ice cream was Strawberry! 🍓
As a adult my favorite flavor is a mixture of Pistachio & Coconut 🥥
Chocolate w
Has always been my 2nd choice! 😋
My favorite is my own. It's taken years to perfect my homemade chocolate ice cream. It's a hit with everyone who tries it.
the best chocolate ice cream is McConnell's Dutch Chocolate, out of Santa Barbara, California. the problem is, it's $10 for a pint. you do, however, get what you pay for.
@@johnjohng668 that $10 for a pint is in the grocery store...if you can find one that carries it. and they use hormone-free milk and cream from grass fed cows and organic eggs. if you ever try it, you'll get why they charge as much as they do.
TJ really has the best Ice Cream , it lacks the gums that are now added to most ice creams
I'm a Vanilla fan ...and Turkey Hill is the best! "Imported from Lebanon, PA"...and I live about 70 miles away...so I should know...😆
Heading out for Chocolate ice cream... any kind.
At the supermarket sometimes I would just compare the ice cream by weighing it (quickly) on a produce scale. I’m paying by liquid weight. I grew up with the fluffy, gummy types but didn’t love them. Basic Häagen-Dazs Vanilla, Chocolate & Strawberry have the most butterfat & are my favorites.
This is really good to know. It never dawned on me to think about how much it weighed.
Cynthia Law There was a really good article on ice cream in an EastWest Journal years (many) ago that explained much about the standards on air and sugar content and manufacturing processes. After reading that it seems the best choice is homemade.
And here is Jack again influencing peoples taste test.
Trader Joe’s - is the most chocolatey, creamiest, richest ice cream I’ve ever had.
Mari Anne Souza, I am with you. I do believe Traders Joes Chocolate ice cream beats all others. Up until this point, I was a big fan of Ben and Jerry’s, Bens Chocolate ice Cream. Problem is, you can Never find it in the stores. 😕 Trader Joe’s to the rescue! Unsurpassed
This. No joke. Trader Joe’s is the greatest chocolate ice cream in the world.
Agreed I was thinking the same and TJ’s is a national brand so odd they didn’t include it but as someone who doesn’t even like chocolate ice cream I agree it is pretty great. I bought it accidentally once not paying attention and was surprised how much I liked it; really good ice cream.
Trader Joe's has some other ice cream maker create it for them. Their co-packing is very secretive and makes one wonder why? TJs can be very sketchy.
@@birdy1numnum All of their products are made for them. A lot of companies who make house brand stuff don't want you to know it, because people might assume it is not different from their expensive brand (usually true). Their national brand is expensive because they buy advertising to promote it, not usually because it is made with better ingredients.
They obviously went mass produced. I agree with the results. Went to a Turkey Hill factory as a school trip years ago. If you ever get to do that.......😃
I agree with other comments TJ's ice cream is the best. Their vanilla bean is the best.
I wish you would do another test and include Blue Bunny and some other brands. I also wish I had some chocolate ice cream right now of any brand. 😂💕
Fun fact: years ago, Dreyer's founders implemented this in-house slogan: Ready, Fire, Aim. 🤣🤣🤣 I am surprised they survived. Dreyers has changed hands multiple times, and is now owned by Froneri (50% Nestle ownership). Dreyers also manufactures Haagen Dazs.
Häagen-Dazs is hands down the best ice cream I've ever tasted. I'm not surprised the two presenters preferred it over the one chosen by the audience and the panel of 'experts'.
We here in the bigger west coast cities have so many great local ice creams this test panel just seems silly. Van Luwen, Molly Moon, Salt and Straw, Bi Rite are all phenomenal ice cream companies!
Breyer’s was my favorite years ago before they got bought out and the recipe changed. I almost never eat store-bought ice cream anymore because of that.
Most of their crap is "frozen dairy dessert" now rather than ice cream. Unfortunately for me, no better (and available to me) brands make lactose free ice cream so I'm stuck.
@@Zelmel go to the health food store and see what they have to offer. Some of the dairy free stuff is pretty good
@@terriharvey1053 Unfortunately, in my experience most of the diary free stuff is either pretty awful or good but gives me an upset stomach :(
Turkey hill is my favorite too!
I love Haagen Dazs. They can keep their East Coast only brand.
If you can find it, Godiva makes the best chocolate ice cream. It’s so dense, creamy, and chocolatey. Heaven in a pint.
They are always checking the same old brands, yet never test the Kroger's Private Selection Chocolate Ganache ice cream. As a chocoholic, I have tried them all and for me the Kroger Private Selection brand is the best hands down.
Guess Blue Bell hasn't made it to their area.
There is a carton of Blue Bell with the other cartons shown. Visible near the beginning of the video.
Dan Zachry I agree with Dan. The only regret I had in leaving Texas was I moved to a place that doesn’t sell Blue Bell. I use to live not that far from the location of the Blue Bell creamery in Brenham, TX. Life was good back then.
@@1973TJM That is an empty carton, They ate it all up before the contest began.
Turkey Hill Cookies & Cream...my favorite!
My favorite is Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate ice cream. Edy's used to make a low-fat one that was really good called Chocolate Fudge Chunk. It was chocolate ice cream with chocolate chunks and a fudge swirl.
Talenti (which is gelato) is my favorite. Tillamook is second favorite.
A few notes:
Most of these taste tests seem to have been posted at least 4 years ago, and may have been filmed longer ago than that.
ATK will tell you that they do try to focus on national brands...but they also say they use sales figures to help them choose, and I suspect those stats favor East Coast regionals over West Coast regionals due to population density.
Now on ice cream specifically - Turkey Hill turns out to be complicated. From what I've read, it should have been DQed twice - it was originally a regional brand, then (at least temporarily) a Kroger-owned brand and ATK says they don't normally test private labels.
As to Tillamook ‐ they're national now, but probably were not when this test was done. (And they did not win all the trademark lawsuits mentioned elsewhere.) OTOH, Umpqua is still a regional brand (and very good).
Häagen-Dazs is the best I tried every brand.
For diabetics Chocolate no sugar added Klondike bars are good.
I'm a Blue Bunny's fan myself! Mmmmm.... chocolate!!😋😋😋
Nothing beats making your own ice cream at home. I have a cuisinart ice cream maker. I paid about 50 bucks for it and it makes great Chocolate ice cream.
I was a fan of Stone Ridge Ice Cream, but when the grocery chain I shopped at was bought out, they sold Turkey Hill. Since I could no longer buy my favorite I switched and found that Turkey Hill was comparable in taste and price
The best chocolate ice cream I’ve had in years is the premium chocolate ice cream from Aldi’s. In the black container. I think it is Signature brand.
I shop aldi for quite a few items but have never thought about trying there ice cream . Thx for the info .
Late comment, but it's GREAT! Everyone should check it out. Make sure you get the Super Premium, they carry a cheeper kind that has more chemicals and air.
I shop Aldi's every week and never thought to try their ice creams. Are any of the others in that line any good? I've been very pleased with 99% of everything I bought there.
Aldis quality is amazing for the price and it's easy to shop there. Small store, I know where everything is. Another perk, one of my best friends is a store manager and he makes good money. I've heard Publix is a better place to work, but here in Michigan Aldis treats their workers the best, and that matters to me.
Love all their frozen deserts, even the cheeper ice cream is good. Great chocolates, great "girl scout" type cookies. Their ketchup tastes like Heinze, their peanut butter tastes like Jif, their ranch dressing like Hidden Valley, all probably made in the same factories. Not crazy about all their deli salads and hummus, things like that, but don't buy much of that anyway. Produce is good. They try to get the cheapest, so look at it carefully. I splurge on meat, try to buy most local organic, but will pick a few things up at Aldis in a pinch, it's very good. Chips are excellent, such a good deal.
I love food and love to cook, Aldi's is great.
@Pod Well then us Aldi's customers are exceptionally happy that you are not going to ever go shopping at Aldi's. Thank you very much. Enjoyed your trolling sweetie, mwa xx
In my region it's called Dreyer's. I really enjoyed learning that in other areas it's called Edy's because that was my grandmother's name and she is one who passed on to me a passion for cooking.
I rarely get ice cream anymore, so when I do it's quite a treat. I usually get Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate.
Haagen Dazs is also my favorite. Let it get a little soft and OHHHH BABY, sooooo delish. 🥰🥰🥰
I like our local ice cream, Round Top, best. An old, small batch ice cream with not so much overrun. I bought a friend from away a cone of it. He said it was like licking a stick of butter.
I’m in total agreement with Jack and Bridget!
IMO Friendly's Classic Chocolate is top dog, regular vanilla too. Although I just finished off a carton of Hoods Chocolate and it was good also.
Here in Mo. Turkey Hill has Peanut Butter and Chocolate. Just like Baskin Robins only a lot cheaper ! Love your shows !
I love Bluebell btw
Any ice cream that has more than 4 or 5 ingredients doesn't get bought in this household.
Can I come for dessert? I'm with ya no fakes not in my food or bra lol
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love Tillamook and, secondly, Umqua. For vanilla, I'll take the Costco Kirkland brand even over Tillamook or Umqua. If I am further east, I almost always look for Blue Bell -- especially their "Moolenium Crunch" variety.
Chris M --- I lived in the PNW for 11 years and loved Tillamook too..
Also absolutely Loved the Kirkland Signature Vanilla 2-pack, until they stopped selling here in Northern California.. :( Bummer... :( If you can still purchase the Kirkland Vanilla, you are so lucky.. Try some of that with the famous 5+ lb Costco All American 5-Layer Chocolate Fudge Cake !!! It will be an out of body experience !!!
The Turkey Hill brand is delicious.
chocolate is my favorite 😍
What happened with the other brands that were visible? I saw Blue Bell on there. Are they 4th plus spots?
Edy's Slow Churned with the green flag that says "Simple Recipes" is made with sugar, not corn syrup.
The company dropped the ice creams made with sugar. Now they only have ice cream made with corn syrup. Totally different flavor.
I switched brands.
Need some Stewart’s in there!
As a 70 yr chocolate eater I’m not surprised. Had not heard of Turkey Hill, terrible name for IC, until 5 yrs ago but it is my favorite. The fact that’s inexpensive just means I eat more.
Too bad they didn't try Straus Organic Dutch Chocolate. It's soooo much better than these other brands and yeah, I've tried them all! Chocolate is my drug of choice, LOL!! Straus is the BEST!
Haagen-Daz's Chocolate is spectacular. The flavor, the consistency - put some in a bowl and pour just a little bit of milk over it - it's like a ready made milk shake - the milk immediately turns a nice shade of delicious brown - and I'm not a person who even prefers cholocate!
Thanks for the tip. I'll try that. Me being a chocoholic 😊
