Naming a Pendolino with RBF President Pete Waterman

In honour of the Railway Benefit Fund, Avanti West Coast has named one of our iconic Pendolino trains after the charity in an unveiling ceremony led by #RBF President Pete Waterman. Watch as Waterman, a keen rail enthusiast, reveals the new name at a small ceremony in Liverpool Lime Street station. This comes as part of a drive to kickstart funding for the Railway Family Week, an event which hopes to raise money for railway families past and present.
The Pendolino in this video is number 390155 and is expected to travel a quarter of a million miles over a year: raising the profile of a charity that's been helping people in the rail industry for over 160 years.
