Yes I had pan de sal with condensed milk lol It was our Palaman when I was in high school and I’m now 43 yrs old 😊 I challenge you guys to try Filipino snacks like Suman ( cassava) Avocado with condensed milk with ice 😅 I also dare you to try Bear brand (milk powder) & brown sugar to pour on rice as many as you want hahah🍚 Last coffee & rice with sugar and also add bear brand milk powder hahahah Now you’re snacking real deal weird but good legit Filipino snacks lol Hahaha
Edited: also milo powder on rice with sugar hahahahah! Back in the days, the stuff I mentioned were my survival snacks. It use to be cheap because we can buy in a very small pack. We call it sachet!

or champorado.
and for after siesta snack…is palitaw( flattened mochi sprinkles with fresh coconut 🥥 with sweetened black sesame),or ginataang bilo bilo…or arrozcaldo with tokwa and baboy.
And the only junkfood we do it is chicharon…and green mango and bagoong alamang.
And gulaman with condensed and fresh buco salad…ahh…to many to mention…so lots of yummy kakanin Philippines have.
we dont really eat junkfoods…just started only during the early 80’s now there’s a lot now.

They actually sell some Filipino stuff in Walmart’s Asian section, including the banana ketchup. The yellow label is regular one. Roi got the red label hot and spicy. I almost made the same mistake the first time buying it on my own after my Filipino roommates introduced me to them.
