    Pretty amazing how Accord left Camry in its dust. This car puts up a strong fight against the SUV market. I don’t know what Toyota we’re thinking with the Camry. It’s a good effort but just not enough. Congrats to Accord a well deserved car of the year award.

    Yeah... I was going back and forth between the 2019 Rav 4 and the 2018 honda accord, but after this video, I'm definitely going to get the accord. Hondas are typically classier, and it comes with android auto. I refuse to give up my android, and this car is beautiful, reliable and fully loaded. My only wish...1. Panoramic sunroof 2. Amazon alexa 3. Car auto start on my smart watch.
    Gonna put this video on my favorites list cause I'm getting this car in Dec. 31 2018 through costco when it's on sale. Lol

    Thank you Honda man , I was waiting for this review from you, Honda dosen't have much discount on the Accord , it means that it makes less attracted to me right now to buy it . The Camry is more price friendly in the dealer right now, to buy a new Accord , Honda need to give some incentives, other wise I will looking the Camry. i have 2 month window...let see

    I live in Canada and 3 weeks ago I purchased the 2018 Accord Touring model.I love the car. I have looked at the videos about the car on you tube.I have not seen any mention of the American models having remote start or heated steering wheel as mine does,this was not a purchase option here but standard equipment on the touring. Do the US models come with these features.

    I own a 2017 accord sport and I’m glad I got the last year it was made cause it just looks so much better then the 2018 in my opinion although I don’t like the interior the exterior of the Toyota Camry just looks way better then the 2018 accord I think Honda just took a shortcut made the accord look like a civic not a fan of the new accord

    • @markymars
      @markymars Před 6 lety +1

      CIBAO I promise you it will grow on you like it did with me! Although I do agree with you that the 2017 looks better but honestly Camrys don't age very well... do you really think that Camry front end will still look good after ten years? This Accord will age beautifully lookin like an Audi all over except for that ugly ass rear end.

  • @JF-mq8tp
    @JF-mq8tp Před 4 lety +1

    I believe there are some downside feathers to the 2018 Accord that Edward neglected to mention.
    To name just a few, Edward didn't mention that the alloy wheels stick out further than the tires so when you're parallel parking and you get too close to the curb, instead of brushing the tires you damage the expensive alloy wheels. That's only the beginning. Whenever you go in for service, they'll want to rotate your tires for free. Of course! That will put another wheel in position to be damaged while parking. They’re not so dumb. Alloy wheels are around $200+ each.
    This one is for men. With a suit or sports jacket on, try to connect your seat belt. The connector is down between the seat and the center counsel so it’s very hard to do, bad design.
    Be careful doing straight in perpendicular parking. Chances are very good that you will scrape the bottom of your car on the curb before the front wheels touch the curb. And by all means don't bump into anything more rigid than a beach ball. The whole front end is plastic (even the parts that guard the Honda Sensing unit and the intercooler). Are you surprised that Edward didn't mention any of this? I'm not.
    One more thing, and if you don’t laugh you have no sense of humor. Did you notice the speedometer? It goes to 160 mph. The car’s engine is red-lined at around 100 mph. I think it has to do with Toyota’s speedometer that goes to 140 mph. I wonder if the designers figured the Honda owner will get more girls with a higher number on the speedometer. You should ask.
    Thanks, Edward, for the tour.
