Cracking vid, we're new dealers to Kress so still playing around with the app and getting our confidence in the machines.

Great review, is it possible to do that mapping yourself or does this need to be done by the sales person ? Thanks

Hey there - a few questions. This was really good to show people the setup. Can the base be under roof structures to protect from the elements? How is the experience for your customer now that it has been doing its job for a while? Is the app easy to use? Can you control the mower remotely if it gets "stuck"? Thanks!

    Hi. Great video.
I have a few questions if you don't mind....
How far away do these work from Kress RTK reference stations?
Do GOPS corrections get less accurate the further you fare from one?
Is there a map anywhere showing the base station network locations?
What's the process if you're too far from a reference station? (eg. will Kress install a reference station at your property, and is this an extra charge?)
Are all parts available to end-users or are these machines dealer-service only?
Is setup & installation included with the purchase cost or is it an extra charge?
Also, does Kress have an API for controlling & monitoring their automowers?
...Would like to use something like this for mowing around a camp-ground. It'd be ideal if we could set each pitch as a separate mowing zone then integrate with the booking system so the mower knows to not mow certain zones on dates that the pitch is booked out.
NB. Campground & smallholding is just a sideline, I'm a programmer by trade. So long as there's an API where you can enable/disable the zone schedules I should be able to figure something out.

What is the process for pairing the mower to rhe network, then to the app?
Do you have to have the app?

Thanks for the video. But this Kress RTK robot seems a bit of an intermediate step compared other RTK mowers, like Mammotion Luba. This is the one I purchased because it was DIY rather than needing installation. Likewise why can’t it find its way back to base station without the magnetic strip?

Hey so KRESS is a proper garden machinery brand with a large range of products a dealerships network and a UK office offering technical support warranty and backup and parts, it’s not just an online product like some out there. Also KRESS offer a machine that can mow up to 36,000 square meters very much not an intermediate product. But all comments are appreciated and feedback welcome. And your right about the mag strip, most don’t seem to need this but I guess they have their reasons.

@@rcdiscos agree with your point on service. Needs to improve. I believe that will come. But like for like AWD plays RWD, 10Ah battery to 4Ah. 8 cutting blades on two discs with 40cm cutting width plays 1 disc & 3 blades. IPX6 vs ? £2,988 vs £4,300 plus installation. I will continue to watch comparison videos

Thanks for the video! I am here with a Luba 2 Month in on with more than 2000sqm with trees and plants, trenches etc. Watching a lot of vids regarding rtk tech since I am not yet totally happy. My Luba more than once nearly killed its self diving into a trench or similar. However the necessity of a magnetic cable killed it for me. We just recently had a storm and due to the clean up, around the charging station of the Luba boundaries changed. I could actually modify them with the app an keep mowing. Now in the case of th kress I would have to 1. Redo the magnetic cable to the charging station 2. Call someone to remap nogo zones ?
That seems not really worthwhile? Still, I think it is great to see many different solutions to pop up. In the end AI will solve the problem 😂

Do you map no go zones clockwise or anticlockwise, or doesn’t it make a difference?

Are you in range of an antenna? Are you an end user or a dealer? Has the machine already been installed by a dealer?

60mm = 2.3622" = LESS than 2.5" MAX HEIGHT is just crazy low.
Northern grasses in the US should be mowed from 3-3.5" high in the summer.

It can’t. But what I have learnt is that you don’t need the full length like in this video, I have not tried but possibly only 1m would be sufficient.

      @rcdiscos  Před 8 měsíci

Sounds like you may have had a bad experience but I wouldn’t generalise. Approved dealers offer the after sales service to consumers, if a dealer has a problem then KRESS are very easy to contact and fast to resolve an issue. For those consumers that have had difficulty with their dealers there is a phone number so you can call them directly. But as previously stated, your dealer is responsible for direct after sales support.
