What is your favorite old school soft plastic color?
Creme Worm Used to make Purple with a Fire Tail that was killer down here on a lake in Gainesville
-17 degrees Norther Wisconsin!
@@michaelboettcher9384 🥶
Watermelon green
Black Grape.
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit czcams.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
I definitely want to see you do a glow in the dark Fire tiger patten.
Yeah would be sweet
I second that.
Haven't seen motor oil baits in a long time. They look really great.
Thanks
Gotta love it. hands down favorite color!
It's definitely eye-catching
I absolutely LOVE that pigment! Looking forward to seeing some baits in the glow in the dark colors.
💪💪💪
good ol classic color!!!! brings back memories of me and my dad fishing out of our jon boat when i was a kid!!!
Black or motor oil. I soak my plastic worms in Anisette liquor. An old timer showed me that when I was young . I outfish everyone with this little secret.
Yes totally wanna see the glow stuff! 🙂 Not ever seen anything like that not really! I totally love to see how that goes and works and looks! That's so cool! 🙂
It's cool stuff
Definitely would love to see the glow colors. I think it would make a great vid
The motor oil color is incredible!! It is cool to see the colors that come out when they are held up to the light. Yes I would like to see some baits made with the glow in the dark colors and it is really cool that you have a set of drumsticks!! Thanks for sharing!! :)
Thanks for watching
Love that rainbow trout paddletail!! Bubble gum and motor oil are two of my favorite old school colors!
I loved that color growing up and still do when I can find it. I haven't seen it in years. Thanks for sharing and rip lips.
I'll bet it would still catch a lot of fish
Love motoroil! Just by looking at the shifting colors, never gets old 😄!
Yes, would like to see more on the glow powders. Wonder how they would look mixed with regular colors. Great videos!
Mixing with regular colors usually makes them glow less that's the only thing
I've been playing with some glow pigments in my baits! Turns out great!
Also holy moly forgot how cool motor oil is!
I’m definitely going to give this a try didn’t even know they made this type of color this is my first time actually seen holy cow that looks so amazing I’m definitely gonna order me a bottle this week that’s a game changer awesome video brother
right on!
Back when I 1st got into bass fishing a culprit motor oil ribbon tail worm was my jam. We're talking early 90's when i was a just getting into my teens. Lol.
And I'll bet it would still work
@@WorldsWorstFishing oh I'm sure. I think its 1 of the best colors ever made for baits. I would eat it if I was a fish. Lol.
Yes on the glow cause I’m about to buy some soon.
Nice
Glow powder would make a great show!
Definitely agree
Can't wait for the glow in the dark powders
nice
Absolutely love this color
Motor oil has always been my favorite color
Love this color
That's my favorite yet. Love the craws.
motoroil is a color that never dies of here in sweden, every pike or perch angler have a few soft plastics in motoroil, we have even taken it so far that we use it och hard baits to, searun browns love it too!
here in SoCAl, the MORF (motor oil red flake) mini grub is still WIDELY used as a surf perch bait.. just saying.. big hammer makes 1.5/2" grubs you can buy at Y'all mart , and they are frequently sold out
Yep definitely want to see the glow go.
Motor Oil!!! 👏👏👏👏👏yahoo!!!! I caught my 10lb2oz bass on a "Mann's 8" Augertail" in motor oil, love this color!!!! I still have 2 packs that I stubbornly use when I go fishing!!! Luv the video!
Great old fashioned color. Loved Manns Jelly Worms in this color. Time to start the color of the day again. I saw a Missle Baits California Love That looks like a neat one to try.
The glow powder is very gritty and has to be shot at a high temp for a smooth shot I make them in my shop
Awesome looking and wow those stacks of swimbait molds are becoming a mountain!! Yes to the glow in dark. Thought about mailing ya some sticks too lol. Great gesture.
Those are the best Motor Oil colors I’ve ever seen would love to get some
Hey, checking in from NWGA. Subbed you channel. 26 for Florida is apocalyptic to say the least…!!!!
Drumsticks, finally back in business! Would love to see some glow powders in action
Very soon!
Thanks for the knowledge. An all time color of mine is DOA glow over holographic flake.
Sounds pretty cool
That would be an awesome color for a senko, or a paddle tail senko. I’ve never seen that color before i watched your video awesome job, can definitely tell you take pride in your work.
Yes sir I absolutely do, thanks for watching
Those trout are 🔥🔥🔥! Would love to see you experiment with glow in the dark powders.
Thank you Ashley
Ofcourse we want to see you make glow baits. 👍
I will try to do that soon, that video will require quite a few hours of filming
Amazing color!!
Haha glad the dryer kicked the can 😂 Great content as always Chris. Your resolution is a great idea!
Would be awesome to see some glow. The dark baits in a craw or punch bait. Could definitely get some awesome color combos with all those color options.
Glow in the dark baits....... Yes please!!
💪💪
Love Motor Oil. My dad made me by that color years ago when i first started messing with making my own lures..
That's awesome
Glow ideas: Core Shot worms with core tips
Hey man I think it would be cool if you could make a video explaining the process to get your custom bags. Cool color, keep it up
So funny story I called mf manufacturer’s to get some oil and could find it on there web site. They said because of your video they sold out and you blew it so much they could keep it in stock. But I did finally get some. How cool is that Chris
Great looking color !!!! I know what you mean ...splitting hairs.. we strive for perfection and micro bubbles and dents are in all the big boy bait company's stuff but overlooked. Again cool color. Keep rocking Chris !!!
💪
I would love to see some really subtle uses of the glow in the dark pigments. Glow in the dark pincer tips on the grass grenades. Or something similar. It is easy to over do with that stuff. How about glow interiors to those senko style molds with the inserts... :) Lots of different combos would work in those. When you hand pour how about right around the eye. Not like a blazing sun but just to accentuate the eye area. Anyway, great vid as usual. Sorry about your boat man. Hope that gets handled soon. peace
would love to see some glow ice fishing plastics. i know you dont get ice in florida lol
I thought 50s in Tampa was cold.🌞I used to laugh at people here when they said it was cold, now I'm one of them. Anyways, motor oil looks AMAZING.
me too man I’d visit fl and laugh at everyone complaining 50-60 is cold fast forward a couple years I live here and now complain when it gets below 73 🤣
That Version of Motor Oil is just Wild!! Definitely need to get a bottle of that
It's been the best one for a long time now
The glow powder I seen in crappie baits but I believe if you did it in your swim bait it be better seeing the difference I'd love to see you video this I believe it be awesome. You are amazing at your content.
I really like that color .. gonna see about ordering some. You’re awesome as always
BEST COLOUR IN THE WHOLE DAMN WORLD!
haha its a good one
Chris those are some awesome trout baits. I cannot wait to see you make some of the glow in the dark baits. I'm so glad that you have another set of sticks. I was not expecting to see all the different colors from the motor oil. Beautiful.
As for the motor oil they look great. Pretty much like I remember. Man, it's been a while since I have seen that color. Back in the Mann's Manipulator worm days :)
Love motor oil. One of my old favorites was Gator Tail in motor oil.
Awesome love watching them being made.
🙏🙏
You should make some morning dawn core shot senko’s! I would love to see those!
THOSE TROUT LOOK AWSOME MAN
Good video that color is crazy I hope you get your boat back soon and I would like to see a glow in the dark demo.
You and me both!
Glow is a go to here in my area for specific conditions.
26 for a low is warmer than our high here in Illinois!
Dead On Glow powder is just another reason why I’m glad I added compartment lighting when I converted my Jon Boat. 😂
You definitely should
love those brush hogs!!! fav ol school color? tequilla sunrise
its a good one
the colors on the phantom and the craw look amazing great stuff as usual
Thank you
Motoroil with gold glitter👌👌👌
Suggestion: triple injector with a glow center line.
Chris have you ever done a video on die/injector maintenance? If not I would like to suggest one for us newbies. Keep up the great content. I love this channel. Been binge watching it for a while now.
The only thing you really have to do is keep them lubricated that's about it
Will do. Thank you.
yes do a video on the bait with the glow powder.
I bet those 9 inch color shifts would work great for saltwater striper! Color shift makes it look like a swimming bloodworm!
Bring on the glow in the dark colors!
Again, great video and info. Yes, glow in the dark lures. Full and part glow in the dark lures. Great work bud.
💪💪😁
Who made that 7 inch worm mold? Love the videos keep them coming!!!!
Please do some glow stuff. I’ve been getting into it myself
That is a great color. Glow in the dark perch would be great 👍
Right on
Motor oil has been my favorite worm color since 1982. Can't find them anywhere now.
Very exciting the Mf motoroil is a must buy.
Yeah it's one of the classics
I have not been on your page in awhile but I do love it. That being said i noticed you were using a pot to cook your plastic. Is it better than the microwave?
yes yes yes, test those powders. It is very common that there is huge difference in "glowiness" between colors.
I imagine so
Yes on the glow in the dark video
🙏
I would definitely use those 7" as an eel for striped bass.
Dude i live in Wisconsin and it was literally 26 here yesterday. Thats gotta be nuts in Florida
pretty cold for down here
I think the trend was started by the guy from Full Contact Baits when he posted those chameleon dropshots and neds on the baitmaking facebook page. it just morphed into motor oil for some reason
Well done once again. I think you may have answered a question that i have had, i have been wondering how people vacuum down their plastic when cooking it in the pot, so if i understood you right you just cook it until there aren’t any bubbles in it? Thanks again for the content it doesnt go to waste on me.
Yep it just cooks off..you can also skim the layer of bubbles right off the top
I almost forgot…. Hell Yes. I’d love to see some Glow Powder Videos!!
💪
Do you run any sort of space heater in the fish cave? Im struggling to keep plastic at temp even when hand pouring very small amounts of plastic. Awesome video per usual, and I love that color its a classic for me.
I dont, but our cold snaps in FL arent very long euther
@@WorldsWorstFishing its been rough here up in MD. May have to buy an element for the space I use haha
Can you make a “challenge” type video where you make trailers to match random lures??
You know Berkeley Power Baits Motor Oil color is still one of my favorites! Every lake I fish I can catch fish on that color. Can you color match it? I would buy every worm you made..
Color is awesome just ordered some haha
Ha nice
thoughts:
was it because you started going slower, or was it because you already made SEVERAL attempts during which time the molds were getting hotter and hotter?
20 deg f for an overnight low might be cold in florida, but here in pa we would be glad to get that as a daily high temp. when it gets cold i find i need to preheat the molds with a torch to get them to work properly.
Well I've never known temperature to be a factor in determining bubble problems, either the plastic still needed to cook out longer or faster injection was causing the problem
not trying to argue or be a dick, just thinking this through. i know i have issues around here in cold weather where the hot plastic meeting the cold metal will cause condensation and create moisture in the molds. granted, ive never had that particular problem youre having, but i would think if it were an injection speed problem, and had nothing to do with temp, then those molds would have done that every time you shot them before. no?
Great vid as usual. Would like to see some glow vids
🙏🙏
Awesome
U should do some black with hyper shift purple and light blue flake ,me and my brother did it and it turned out pretty good
Love to see the glow
I'm thinking about getting into bait making and there's a certain old school color I'm trying to recreate and it's a clear light blue worm made by flip tail and I was wondering if you cold do a video about how to make a colored clear plastic.
Back at it
Yep
It's cold here in North Carolina we had a ice storm at the beachibafe cold weather
I think you chuckle-heads bought all of the colorant. I had it in the shopping cart yesterday and went to place the order today and it was gone!
Haha started a revolution
