WOW! We have bought our 6 year old granddaughter an American Doll every Christmas for the past 3 years. Did not know they had books. Going to have to look into that. Thanks so much Kristen.
What a wonderful haul! I too love linen. And I understand your frustration when you wash and dry an item and it gets all misshapen. I try to wash all my linen items together. I then pop them into the dryer and start it up. I wait about 5 minutes and slip one item out at a time. I place it on a hanger and straighten out the sleeves, hems and collars and hang it up to finish drying. Then I retrieve another item and I keep doing this until all items are hanging to finish air drying. It is amazing to see all of the crisply dried shirts ready to be worn with no ironing needed. I can’t wait for your exciting news!
I like the shirts French tucked and maybe roll up the jeans in a cuff. You find the best things!!! I love Little House, Heidi and Little Women SO much!

I loved all the clothes! Especially the linen shirt's. I like them partially tucked in. I Alway's read to my daughter when she was little before bed every nite. It's the Best! Still praying for your house to sell if it God's will. It's very cold in Mn right now. Last nite we had a 55 below wind chill. A good time to stay in and organize, watch movies, and relax. I live in England and sadly it’s not on the TV over here. Eight years ago all of Norman Rockwell’s paintings were on display in a village hall in London. Linen does acquire a little more attention in care, but it always looks great. Linen Jackets are pretty to & they look good with jeans in the Spring. Your entire haul was impressive!! I love thrifting! I really like the skirt that is too big in the waist. It looks like it is made of wool, which would mean that it has to be dry cleaned. If you have a sewing machine, you could try taking it in by sewing both sides at the seams. The flare-leg jeans are soooo cute on you! Try cuffing the other, shorter pair of jeans. You might like them better that way. Otherwise, turning them into cut-offs is a good idea. I love the feel of linen, but, yeah, it wrinkles a lot. Nice cardigan too. All of the books are great finds. I never cared for dust covers when I was younger, but they make a huge difference in the value of a book. I would keep them. That Heidi book might be worth something. Check the copyright date and do some research. God is good...ALL of the time! Blessings on you and your family in 2022! ❤
Kristen you look adorable in everything you tried on. I love linen, have you considered buying a clothes steamer? I use one because I don’t like to iron at all. Also the jeans if your not sure you want to make the one pair of jeans into shorts, do you ever cuff your pant legs and wear them as capris. The Express jeans are really cool.

Oh my goodness, you need to wear the jeans that are short with 2 pairs of scrunch SOCKS !!!! LOL!!!! My girls who are both in their 40’s wore them! Talk about laundry with double sock wearing….ugh !!! How I miss EXPRESS and their clothing ! That was my favorite store back in the 90’s! Express, Limited and Gap…. Good thing I had a full time job to support the habit 😬 Our youngest daughter ( who is 42 now , ) and our oldest granddaughter ( who is 19 now ) were BIG AMERICAN GIRL Doll fans! I have 9 or 10 of those Dolls at my home alone and almost every year I got our granddaughters American Girl Dolls, or Babies or the Twins ! Our youngest granddaughter , who we “thought” we were going to pass them on to… doesn’t like DOLLS ! She is only 3…maybe there is still hope ! LOL! Little House On The Prairie….oh the memories with that show! Our daughters favorite ! So many memories you have brought back in this video! So wonderful to remember those precious days! If you get a chance there is a movie about Beatrix Potter describing her life . I got my little nieces a Beatrix Potter tea set in a rattan box at an estate sale. It was beautiful and they have not broken any of it. I think it was real china . I can not remember but maybe that movie is on utube. If you were my neighbor I would iron those linen tops for you..don’t mind ironing. I love linen too. I take a break from estate sales and shopping at times too..I have so much. I have not even put my Christmas up yet. It is too cold to go in my attic. It is eighteen degrees here and snow…which is not that common in our part of WV. Hope your 2022 is your best year ever.
I used to have a rust color Liz Claiborne linen tailored suit. I had it dry cleaned. If I sat down in it……..it looked like I slept in it 🤨. I ended up donating it. I was so happy when polyester became popular again 😂.

You could be a model!!! Do you think taking your linen blouses to the dry cleaners and having them press them and the sleeves like they should be? Maybe that would help to keep them straight for a while? Never had washable linen so I don’t know anything about it. Thanks for sharing your video
That skirt is very cute on. It looked nice on you. I agree try to sew it or adjust waist size. I also think the Cherokee jeans were a good length for slouching a pair of cute socks and mid ankle type boots. They’d even look cute when it gets a bit warmer to wear with cute sandals and one of those linen shirts. Love your posts and enjoy your fashion and decor ideas.

To fix sleeve cuffs without having to iron...just get matching thread,take a little stitch every so gently inside the cuff, to make it stay in place.

I do the same things that Carol said. But i spray starch them while they are still wet. The items look really nice when they dry .
You can always use a flat iron on the on the cuffs of the sleeves .

I have such a love/hate relationship with linen 😆! I mostly just use a steamer to even out the bunched up areas. It's quicker than ironing 😉.

I used to have a rust color Liz Claiborne linen tailored suit. I had it dry cleaned. If I sat down in it……..it looked like I slept in it 🤨. I ended up donating it. I was so happy when polyester became popular again 😂.

You could be a model!!! Do you think taking your linen blouses to the dry cleaners and having them press them and the sleeves like they should be? Maybe that would help to keep them straight for a while? Never had washable linen so I don’t know anything about it. Thanks for sharing your video

That skirt is very cute on. It looked nice on you. I agree try to sew it or adjust waist size. I also think the Cherokee jeans were a good length for slouching a pair of cute socks and mid ankle type boots. They’d even look cute when it gets a bit warmer to wear with cute sandals and one of those linen shirts. Love your posts and enjoy your fashion and decor ideas.
