I’ve owned both. The seats in the VXR are unrivalled, absolutely brilliant. Other than that, the ST is better in every way.
The fiesta is far superior to the cosa most vauxhall's arnt that great really but they get the job done

I've got an ST3 and from your exterior shots the exhaust looks standard. There is a pipe from the air box into the cabin which gives you induction noise - gives you the impression inside the car that it's a lot louder outside than it is. It's a nice feature honestly, not synthetic noise piped in, someone who enjoys driving came up with that.
That would make sense! I realise I think that exhaust is a standard mountune one when you spec that package from looking into it
@@MVG-2021 I could be wrong but I think the Mountune MP215 kit only included a remap and an updated metal air box. And I don’t even think every car got the air box.
Great head to head, owned my VXR for 7 years now and still love it. Mate of mine had an ST 3, had a weekend driving through Wales in them and have to agree the ST does handle better. I feel the ST seats hug you better but still arn’t beating those VXR seats

You can add the cruise control, and many other options on the fiesta so easily. I added every missing option on my mk7.5.
Both are pretty cool but I'd pick an Abarth Punto Evo supersport over both if them. Although I may be slightly biased 🤣

Yes, in hindsight I remember this now! I was looking on the stalks like the VXR for some reason 🙃. I’m no Chris Harris that’s for sure 😁

Correct, but I can only compare what I had in stock at the time! 😃
Corsa E vxr is different but very similar. Different ecu, more power torque, more low down torque. Bigger injectors, updated inlet apple carplay android auto, digital temp gauge the list goes on. Steering is different too. Piston 4 is very rare on the E's even on the D's is due to the undersized pistons and bad inlet design (leans out at wide open throttle and intake temps get too hot which melts the piston). Bad maps is usually to blame, bigger injectors solve this.

The st180 has over boost as well in its standard st form, taking it to just shi of 200bhp in 3 4 5 6 and with the st3 and st2 I think I may be wrong but the only diffrents is the stanav

Corsa has over boost also ST2 standard don't get climate auto light auto wipers sat nav but could spec it up with convenience pac getting lights wipers nav

The Corsa VXR is a terrible car, and I think the only reason you prefer it, is because YOU owned one. If you had owned a Fiesta ST back then, you would be singing it's praises.

They do 👍. It was optional on the ST-2. Easy way to tell is that if it has the right hand set of steering wheel controls, it has cruise control. If it doesn’t, it’s just blank 👍

If I had to choose between a vauxhall and a ford I’d pick a Honda any day of the week 😂
Fords always seem to deal with the corners better than vauxhalls in stock form. The VXR powerful but I think the ST puts the power down better.
Obviously if you want the best handling from stock in a hatch then you go with a Type R Civic.
Never been a fan of them for some reason! Need to drive one properly!

@MVG-2021 be holding on to at least 3 of them forever😂 the burg I got in November to daily but I want to keep and lightly restore it (chilli orange example) and have as a summer car at one point because the astra arctic is off the road for good until.its restored now bare shell I reckon is next for that
Clubsport is on 9k miles had it since 2019 and done 100 miles or so in it
Corsa e is a 68 reg so pretty rare it's had 10k stuck on it in my ownership over 4 years now (lots of early ownership miles) now it's off the road at 22k or so and might go on the road this summer we will see what happens but the burg needs some fettling first of all

Of course the st3 will feel quicker it’s more bigger bhp this to me isn’t a fair comparison as the st3 is not only more bhp it’s been modified by mount tune so you need the vxr Nurburgring model for this to be fair comparison.

I have a corsa b in arden blue with a x14xe with kent cams, mantzel inlet, ported head, 421 exhaust manifold, plus a unichip ecu out of a written off rally car I love it. But as a daily I'm looking for a vxr. They have aged so good. Just subscribed. Look forward to the next one. Hopefully more Vauxhall content. Get a lotus carlton on!

its not really a fair comparison if one is tuned and the other is not ! i have a tuned fn2 type-r and its a world away from my friends standard fn2 type-r !

Corsa VXR is a bit of a joke car, just like all Vauxhall cars. Not fit to sniff the Fiesta’s exhaust fumes in reality
