It's kinda sad what has happened to California now.... I fly out to the state for work and fishing and just past May my rental SUV got it's window smashed and the police just took a report.. smh. Garbage, peeing n poop, everything is "Tagged up", needles, open drug use, feel unsafe walking the streets in S.D., S.F., LA even Venice .... Doesn't have to be like this.. Be Well..MB.
Thank you for your comment. It means a lot to me. The strange thing was that it didn't feel dangerous, just really dysfunctional. 🙃 I just uploaded one about Silver Lake. That one is a bit more uplifting, I hope. Cheers, JP
MB, Thank you for your comments. It's crazy isn't it? Perhaps "re-shoring" and some decent leadership might break this city out of its disfunction. Look what just happened with the auto unions. To me it shows that things can get better. Cheers, JP
Hard to understand why nobody in charge of the city of LA seems to care about how our city looks I am near Western and Florence and is the same or worst around here we should hire a city designer to make look like the “City of Angels” there should be money, right??
Arok, Thank you for your feedback. It means a lot to me! Yes, why does this area seem forgotten by the city? It could be magical, and perhaps it will, however without some love from city council that seems a long way off. The condition of the sidewalks by them selves were stunningly f'ed up! Cheers, JP
Arok, Thanks for reaching out. It seems that 50, 75 or even 125 years ago there were opportunities for rich, poor and everyone in between. That was the essence of a first world country. Perhaps with what we just saw with the auto unions is a sign that everyone still matters the the USA? Lets hope. Cheers, JP
Thank for the comment. It means a lot to me. I can't get over how much money sloshes around this city yet it's not enough to make LA look loved and respectable. Cincinnati is having a renaissance at the moment and its breathtaking to see the old parts of the city come back in all its pre-war charm and splendor. Maybe it's just a matter of time for Los Angeles.
Justin, I enjoyed your walk and talk video. Things are looking up. 43 to 50 peeps. Cheers, Mate.
Thank You Jack! I wonder why this video has so many views? Cheers, JP
Just Uploaded one from Silver Lake.
Thank you for the encouragement. It's always means a lot.

LA is incredibly run down, especially the south east portion. But even Hollywood has seen better days,
