    Gotta say mate, you make top videos. I really enjoy watching them when I'm supposed to be working...
    I love the way you don't faff around talking in circles. No wasted words, and all very informative, I'd easily recommend you to any rc newbie.
    Actually I'm an rc newbie, and would love to see a "Matteos rc for dummies."

    Hi Matteo, another excellent video, love the yeah racing upgrades.
    I treated my cc01 to the ultimate upgrades I can find. I got it from Taiwan, complete front end, including actual brake hubs and the complete rear end, axle with lockable diff, 4 link suspension, brake drums, etc everything needed to make it a roller, except shocks. It's been on 2 years now and is weathering up nicely. It was quite expensive, but really worth it.
    I love the CC01S, my favourite off road vehicle, and now that they are doing proper life like rc trailing and not the ridiculous rock crawling class in the off road events, I would take my CC01 and join in now, especially with the alloy upgrades, makes the playing field a bit more even.
    Well, loved the video, looking forward to seeing what you get up to with the body, and see the running video. Oooooh yeeaaaahhhh 😎 👍 👍 👍 👍

    That's the nicest steering bellcrank I've seen for the CC-01. I've tried several in mine in attempt to reduce the slop, and the YR seems to be the tightest of them all. Thanks for sharing Matteo!

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  Před 6 lety

      Yes, it,s not bad. But as I said in the video there is still slop on it. For me this is acceptable. And the bearings save from worn out the parts. Thanks Fil!

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  Před 5 lety

      No, never. At this time I think there is no need for this glow engines. These are difficult to adjust, not easy to handle and dirty. Brushless motors with lipo batteries have more power and are much easier and clean as well.
      And Tamiya TGS is an very old platform, I think they are not longer in production, so the spare parts availability will be difficult.

    • @uncletom1971
      @uncletom1971 Před 5 lety +1

      I see. Thanks. I was a little curious about the TGS platform. But as you say today electric power is equal or better. Also the fuel engines sound too much, can't drive them late at night around populated areas.

    How is the steering compared to the GPM? Any fitment issues or slop? The GPM one is garbage and I am thinking of using the YeahRacing set up instead but I'm afraid the quality might be just as bad. Wish Tamiya had a hop up for this.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  Před 6 lety +1

      The quality of the parts is better as the GPM. There is still a bit slop on it (I think because of too much links in this steering setup) but the bearings helps a lot.

      Yes, but use medium strength, this is possible to loosen again. It exist very strong ones, with this it's not possible to loosen the screws again. And this is not good.

    Sorry to hassle you mate, but would these bits be compatible with the g6-01? Have you already, or will you be doing a similar video for a konghead? Thank you again.

      This parts are not compatible with G6-01. Maybe Yeahracing release somthing similar for the G6 chassis in the future.

      I just removed all my yeah racing stuff from the longheroni, it seems better now with the cc01 equipment. But I need to extend the rear to fit my landfreeder body.

    Deine Videos inspirieren mich sehr...😀 Habe kürzlich den Einbau des MIP Diffs an meinem Blackfoot 2016 abgeschlossen und nun habe ich dieses Video hier gesehen.😋 Mein CC-01 soll dann mit der geilen Evo-Karo (Killerbody) fahren. Wollte dich noch fragen wer die hübschen Dämpfer liefert? Gruss aus dem Oberbaselbiet, Tobi

      Hoi Tobi Danke dir! Freut mich zu hören das meine Videos Inspirationen sind! Die Dämpfer sind die CC-01 Alu Dämpfer von Tamiya. czcams.com/video/T6ZGqpP5q7M/video.html
      Diese kommen ohne Federn. Man kann die normalen verwenden oder die Barrel Springs wie im Video: czcams.com/video/T9fv4HE_zPg/video.html

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  Před 6 lety +1

      Ich habe für alles ein Video 😀 : czcams.com/video/mIBqSOOXFm8/video.html
      Aber ehrlich gesagt finde ich es nicht nötig. Besser finde ich ein Crawler Brushless System. CC-01 ist nicht das beste chassis für high speed.

    • @mrbrickster1463
      @mrbrickster1463 Před 6 lety

      Ja das habe ich mir auch schon überlegt obs dann dem Offroad-Chassis nicht einwenig zuviel wird und die Zweckentfremdung noch sinngemäss wäre. Aber weil ich eben schlussendlich den Dakar-Pajero möchte muss schon einwenig Speed sein...😉 Ich überlegs mir nochmal...
      Habe mir auch überlegt das XV-01 als Basis zu nehmen, da dieses Chassis mehr auf Speed ausgelegt ist, das gibts sogar in einer höhergelegten Variante. Nur weiss ich nicht ob ich da die Pajero-Karosse draufkriege, und erst recht die grossen Jeepräder...😣
