It's really all about location. If you don't mind being further from an airport and a decent sized city you can actually find some very affordable options. Where have you been looking so far?
@@RadiantRealty I grew up in Spokane and spent considerable time in western Montana., I.e. Flathead Lake, Kalispell, Missoula, and farther south toward Livingston, Boseman. After 47 years of marriage, and living close to our grand kids in CA, we’re thinking of giving a look see at that area again. We may just want to find property and build. But if we do that, we need to be close to a town that has a good hospital and good airline service. Need to keep our elevation no higher than 3000’ or so. We’ve lived in Colorado for 30 years at 6700’ feet and then I got a collapsed lung. So I can’t go crazy with higher elevations any more. Flathead and Kalispell are just about right. We currently live at 240’ above sea level!
