So hey! I moved into a new apartment and I knew I'd never be able to top my "New Beginnings" video, so I decided to combine me moving in with answering your questions!

I started a film degree this year, involves video editing, I agree strongly with both of you. Editing is one of the most painful and enjoyable creative activities I've ever done.
I respect the way you handled the question around Yoji. It’s between the 2 of you and all the audience should know is that you’ve both ‘called it quits’ and leave it at that.
Genuine, you are genuine. The relationship, it was obvious, no presence, no show. Told old to comment on private stuff.

Totally agree with your speaking Japanese in Japan comment. I think it's a lot about respect for where you are. Don't complain if the reason you can't get something done is because you can't communicate. Learn how to communicate. In the meantime, ask for help, sure, but put yourself on the path to improvement.

Loved the casual vibe of this video - I know it actually takes a lot of work to make something seem this relaxed! Random thought I had while watching: you’ve gotta see the movie Nomadland. Best movie of last year. It’s all about a woman traveling and living in a van and I think it’ll be right up your alley. It’s on Hulu in the US!

I can also confirm how difficult it is to fly the DJI FPV. Just tested out my friend’s and manipulating the camera while making smooth dynamic movement hurts my head. Also I was constantly worrying about crashing into power lines or people or buildings etc. with the safety features turned off. It also seems like the higher profile of the body makes it more susceptible to wind unlike the Mavic, but the camera quality and the goggles more than make up for it. Hope to see footage from you soon once you’re more comfortable flying!
Yeah it’s gonna be one thing to be able to control it well and another to get cinematic shots haha.
Loved the vid! Curious though - how do you feel about having your work space in your bedroom? Do you work a lot out of coffee shops to create some separation or are you quite comfortable with having everything together?
Yeah I really wish that I had a separate workspace to my room haha. It really makes concentrating difficult so I’ve been experimenting with doing work in a cafe instead and it’s much better!
Wow! That's a nice apartment. The lighting is good. You have a large kitchen compared to other CZcamsrs, I have seen. I am happy for you. 👍
As far as your personal life, it is yours to keep for yourself. I have seen CZcamsrs open up during difficult times and get much encouragement. I have also seen CZcamsrs fall apart from hateful comments on their channel. Sharing your personal life in that way takes much courage and thick skin. When the audience heckle you about a video on food or travel, you can detach yourself from that. It's really a professional thing. When they heckle you on your personal life, that is a totally different story. It's hard to detach yourself from you own personal life.
I really enjoy your videos. I had planned to visit Japan before Covid and as soon as travel restrictions are over, I will take a 2-3 week vacation there. Your videos have inspired me on locations to visit. Thank you for you generosity. I think we all like to see you being a happy person and enjoying life. So, stay happy no matter what. 👍😍

Congratulations on 300K! With the pandemic it would be understandable if the channel stopped progressing, but this one keeps chugging along despite all the challenges on top of the travel restrictions. I'm amazed that you are able to keep that forward momentum while maintaining another job. 👍

I'm so jealous of you. Although I've lived a good portion of my youth in Japan, I have not experienced Japan the way you have. I'm glad you share your experiences so I can enjoy Japan from your perspective. I have only started following recently the snow hike video and from then I watch a whole bunch of videos.
Flying FPV drones is hard, to begin with, but the feeling you get from flying them is like nothing else the faster you fly and the closer to objects you fly the better it gets.
Out of interest how difficult is it to be able to fly legally in japan? I hear there are some strict laws in japan about them.

I have the same chest of draws as you do (mine's white), and used to have the same desk chair (I had arms on mine)... that's Ikea for you! Very tastefully decorated.
I always felt so many youtubers are spilling their whole lives, broadcasting everything to the world. Often times it is intentional, the drama brings views. I guess they are comfortable with everyone knowing.
I like you for being different. Very serious about the moviemaking, which has really improved, but at the same time calm and intelligent in what you share from your personal life. So keep doing what you are doing and we'll be there along for the ride.
The place looks nice, but yes, super tiny, especially the kitchen. I feel totally spoiled in comparison, and I live quite modestly. my bedroom is probably the size of your whole apartment, LOL! I hope you'll get to travel home soon. I am in a similar boat with all family on a different continent.
Btw, I am sure the drone will yield amazing footage. I am always amazed what you can get out a drone. Luckily you are allowed to fly them in Japan in most places, unlike here in the U.S..
