I think he is rated properly, because his mixtapes and freestyles were legendary, but his albums were mid at best. His take on rap music is trash as well. After I heard him downplay Eminem‘s lyricism he lost me. I’m from Philly and I’m a pretty big Cassidy fan from the mixtapes and freestyles but I have to admit he can’t really make songs like that.
