Big Brother and The Voice series originated in The Netherlands. The Mole originated in Belgium. Survivor, The Apprentice, Fear Factor, The Bachelor, Beauty and the Geek and The Amazing Race series originated in the USA. Masterchef, Hell's Kitchen, Dancing with the Stars and Undercover Boss originated in the UK.

white noise is a recording studio term which means the hiss which... say you record something quietly and turn it up you get a hiss. A bit like that. The useable bit of a recording lies between the white noise and the distortion. It is not racist.

Well apparently the rest of Australia is about 6 months behind the rest of the Western world. Guess that applies to music trends as well.
