Hi Jackie! Here to translate all the Hanukkah stuff for you! So you’re right, it’s called a dreidel 😊 and the letters written on the pop-it are נ ג ה ש which are the initials for the Hebrew words “Nes (miracle)” , “Gadol (big)” , “Haiya (was)” , “Sham (there)”. It’s a common acronym put on dreidels that means “a big miracle happened there” and refers to the Hanukkah miracle story of a small jug of oil that miraculously managed to lamp the great temple’s lights for eight full days. Fun fact- since the temple was located in what today is Israel, dreidels in Israel use the acronym נ ג ה פ instead of נ ג ה ש which means “a big miracle happened here” instead of “there”! 😁

The Hebrew letters inscribed on a dreidel are a Nun, Gimel, Hey or Chai, and Shin. The letters form an acronym for the Hebrew saying Nes Gadol Hayah Sham, which can be translated to "a great miracle happened there," referring to the miracle which Hanukkah is centered around.

I’ve noticed with my pop rocker that it was nearly impossible to push in all the dimples when I first got it in summer. Now that it’s cooler the air inside has compressed. It’s much easier to play with and I have no problems pushing them all in.
I had something similar with the banana squishy. It has gotten even more slow rise with the colder winter weather 😍
I love the idea of the salt shaker keychain for non verbal communication and showing how you feel!!! I would love it if it was a bracelet too!!! That way you can have it on you always

I saw something called a Jelly sand kit, where you make little critters out of a material that is similar to the bouncy ball maker kit material, but softer. They sell it at Target in the US. They are so cute ❤️
The letters on the dreidel are 4 letters in Hebrew. It's how you play the game of Dreidel.
Nun- (pronouned nuu n) means you take nothing from the middle pile
Gimmel - means you means you get from the middle pile
Hey- means you take half of the middle pile
Shin - means you put one coin into the middle pile
It's so cool that they also include Hanukkah themed fidget toys!

Its nice to see Hanukkah stuff too instead of just Christmas. December has multiple holidays after all. Also not everyone celebrates Christmas. And some, like me, get both Christmas and Hanukkah. And of course there can be other families who celebrate other things too its just wonderful to see all the representation

A more accurate comparison on the twizzlers are the "filled twists" twizzlers, which are packaged pretty identically to this fidget toy, and are (meant to be) fully round with the star shaped ridges. They're also incredibly soft compared to OG twizzlers, in a similar vein to the pull and peel ones.
Or the Pull 'n' Peel variety. Love those
The reindeer suction cup pop-it thingy was my favourite, just because I love that silly face and the antlers. I don't even care for pop-it style fidget toys, normally, but the whole set of them were cute and entertaining. Also, the almost-like-mochi christmas tree, just watching it made my hands tingle.
A dreidel...wow! Can I buy it off of you? I'll continue now to see if there are any more Chanukah items. So happy to see items from other December holidays in that bag.

Love it but kind of disappointed of my mystery bag now... the stuff I got had several cheap-ish things, one squishy just burst when I squished it, got a tiny snowman pop it but it's so flimsy it just bends and doesn't pop at all... my pop it animal shaped ball doesn't work, I press one of the spots and another just unpops, so I can't really fidget with it plus it deflates... plus there was a lot less stuff.... wish I had gotten as good stuff as you always get.

My favourite holiday is Christmas, because everyone shares it together. You have cosy time with your coworkers, cosy time with your friends and cosy time with your family. It is our day, everyone all together. I really love that.
Tearing plastic packaging can definitely be a lot of fun, but if you can open it without tearing off small strips, it's easier for companies to recycle!
I've worked in a recycling sorting facility before, and they unfortunately have to toss a lot of thin long things (like straws, zap straps, plastic pallet strapping, etc) in the garbage because they can get stuck in the sorting and grinding machines, jamming the machines! I know it's tempting to tear those bags, but if you don't need to tear off thin pieces to open them, it's best to leave the plastic attached.

I always feel like solid pop-its must be such great paint palettes, especially for travel, because the paint should be easy to take off when it dries and easy to clean with water.
If you used watercolor tipe paint you will just have to play with the pop-it and the paint will crack and come off the toy easily and if you used acrylic type paint, since the pop-it's buttons are made of silicone, the paint will easily peel off as well.
I would be cool to try, don't you think?🤔😜

So so true of stockings. I had years where I'd get ridiculous presents and years where everyone got a family present of board games, but the little sweets and individual tiny gestures were always my favourite to get. My parents would even throw in a can of spaghettios or something silly when we were kids.
