It's quite funny when you mention spring tails because we watch and follow a CZcams channel actually called Springytales. This was a very relaxing video which was easy to watch.
these a like but maybe after a couple of these small ones do once a month or so a bigger episode explaining what you did in greater detail in the former episodes and what you experiences was/is with those setups (life stream??)👍

Some airflow can help but aslong as there’s enough plants it should be okay
I am planning on doing a terrarium with my boyfriend for Valentines day. Can you please tell me what to layer in the bottom of the enclosure for isopods, springtails and live plants? Also, I'm kind of wanting it to be a closed enclosure (hope that makes sense) and open it up to mist it and provide more food for the critters. I am 100% new to this, so any advise is welcome. Thank you so much ❤
What is the ratio of size to the number of isopods and/or springtails?
Im guessing all your moss was eaten by them?
U will need to add some leaf litter for the little creatures.

I just used Porcellio Scaber! A super easy sp to keep 😄
how do you obtain moss for your builds? I live near areas with tones of wild moss but ik that you shouldn't use it cuz of possible unintended species
Unintended how though?
I know what you mean, I think the main principle of it, is as long as it’s sustainable, but you could also be taking away from the ecosystem.
As long as you know your harvest was very scarce and it can grow back soon, then whatever comes along as a hitchhiker I always just then treat as my own pet once it just shows up in the terrarium 🤣
But personally If it’s sealed and is locally sourced sustainably then you’ll be fine 😄✌️
