I'm sad and feel empty. I feel nothing but when I listened to this song. I can't stop myself from crying because I can feel the love of God to me. I'm still awake and overthinking everything. I don't even know the purpose of my life. I'm a shy person so, I don't usually talk to other people about my feelings. That's why I'm happy because I found this song and it helps me to express myself by sharing how I felt.
I don't think it's bittersweet at all. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. She held the Savior of this world as a child, He was her son but also God. No one else can ever say that. In the end doesn't mean in her old age. In means at the end of all things, when Christ returns and we are all with Him, He'll be holding all of us. The little child she held and nurtured as an infant, will wrap her in His arms in the fullness of God in heaven. Heaven will be Heaven for all of us, but only Mary will have that experience.

Micha Ouwens, yes, God has always been in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as the Trinity. They have always existed. But when Mary said "yes" at the Annunciation (a specific point in history), the Son became flesh in her womb. the Son, Jesus Christ, received his 100% humanity from Mary. He still keeps His 100% divinity. The reason we can say Mary is the mother of GOD is b/c Jesus is still God and the Trinity cannot be separated.
Not to mention that Mary risked her marriage to Joseph and her life (unwedded girls who got pregnant were stoned - I'm still not sure how Mary escaped it) by agreeing to give birth to Jesus.

Micha Ouwens, yes, God has always been in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as the Trinity. They have always existed. But when Mary said "yes" at the Annunciation (a specific point in history), the Son became flesh in her womb. the Son, Jesus Christ, received his 100% humanity from Mary. He still keeps His 100% divinity. The reason we can say Mary is the mother of GOD is b/c Jesus is still God and the Trinity cannot be separated.
I know, but Jesus became one of us. That is why He was born.

I did this song at a dance recital 5 years ago, and although it wasn't a solo, I was tearing up while dancing! So me and my cousin did this song again on Thanksgiving last year in 2018, and I saw almost all the women had tears in their eyes! And even though it wasn't a professional performance with my cousin, it felt like it. She was Mary, I was Joseph, and my other cousin was an Angel. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! Thank you Jesus for coming! Can't wait for the Second Coming!

My prayer is for anyone that doesn't know Him, that they will get to know Him and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Let Him into your heart and life. He is right there to love you and to save you because of His love for you. That gaping hole in your heart and life.......He can fill that if you'll just let Him. Invite Him in. He'll never leave your side. He loves you so much that He died to save you. I pray this will be your best Christmas ever because you have Jesus in your life and you will never be the same again. Mary made a choice to become the mother of Jesus so that this world would be saved. She is an example of how we can let Jesus into our hearts. "I'll hold you in the beginning, you will hold me in the end." Let Jesus take control of your life. For example, in the morning, when you rise, offer a prayer giving your day to Jesus. You might be surprised with how your day goes. As Jesus said Himself, "Behold, I make all things new." Our crosses (hardships in life) will never be easier to carry unless we let Him into our hearts.
