#Zedaph #Minecraft #Hermitcraft - Hry
After this project is finished, I would recommend keeping the chickens around! Chickens from chicken jockeys lose the ability to lay eggs. Perhaps there's a market for decorative chickens that don't create a mess!
I could imagine that Scar is interested in such Chickens. He wants to collect all the Mobs for his Zoo.
does that apply to chickens that existed already? I thought it was only chickens that spawned as a jockey mount
I’m sure I remember in the last episode seeing the chicken carrying the villager lay an egg while Zed was talking to another hermit
if so Grian would make Zed get a permit to sell those 😂
When it hops on an existing chicken the chicken doesn't change, it's only when a new chicken spawns for it to ride on that it has special properties, it despawns like a hostile mob and doesn't lay eggs.
"It would be ridiculous of me to spend any more time on such a weird thing." Except, this is Zedaph, and that's why we watch!
Exactly lol very lovely quality of goober activities
i expect nothing less from zed
Welcome to Zedaph life
Welcome to Zed Life!
We can always count on Zedaph to be ridiculous.
Zed starts messing with the postbox the way my uncle starts "fixing" the vacuum cleaner. Auntie Pearl is not going to be happy about this.
😂 why did this make my insides panic?! 😂 My brain was like "better not" ... Haha poor Etho and Tango... The mail system was a big enough pain without all of these shenanigans 😂😂😂
i had the same panic when scar was talking about moving his mailbox to his train too
pearl should make a sister company of the permit office where people who wants to relocate their mailbox has to complete near impossible tasks
I’m imagining a hermit doing their casual shopping at the district and just looking up to see Zed flying past with villagers on chickens. Yep, normal hermitcraft day!
I thought the same thing😂😂😂
SAME xD
"the Wools of Wool Street" that is a platinum pun right there 😂
*woolves, it's a pun on wolf.
Woolves of wool steet!!!
If I had a nickel for every Mafia group that‘s formed on the server…
Some real Woolves in Sheep's Clothing huh?
Double the pun, double the fun. X and Z, what a combo.
I think you should talk to Doc about the Jockey farm. Show him how easy it is to move your chicken villagers around compared to the traditional minecart method and you might be able to get the help of him and his Tech friends in scaling up or potentially automating some/all of the steps. He's often complained about how annoying it is to move villagers, so having a method that makes them immune to fall damage and lets you lead them around on an *actual* lead might pique his interest.
This is genius! I would love to see a collab between Zed and Doc. The extreme sides of Minecraft coming together; game breaking, and insanely silly
Zed and X roughing anyone up just sounds funny. They are both just so polite, and friendly, that I feel they might have more success guilting people than roughing them up.
"If you don't pay up..."
*Zed starts cracking his knuckles*
"We're just gonna have to give you a discount."
*Zed aggressively slaps a 10% off coupon on the table*
That sounds pretty accurate... Although we mustn't forget the other side of Xisuma: beat them up with sick beats!
A tactical "I am just a bit disapointed, not with you, with me that's all." from X and as a fail-safe from Zed "So I had this realy cool idea and I thought you would enjoy helping me with it." might have them swimming in permits.
y'all are too clever, those are really good 😭
He does also kill demons.
‘Hmm, if I’m going to mess with the mail system, maybe I should talk to Etho? He is online’ Proceeds to take himself off the grid, race Keralis & admire X’s sheep farm. 😂
He should have talked to etho first. They asked him where he wanted the mailbox and would have told him about the portal stuff beforehand. Now I just hope he only messed up his mailbox and not others
Zedaph bammed into some bamboo then proceeded to boo at it. This is a sophisticated level of comedy.
Zed.... You need to breed them. The chickens, and the villagers. Can you? CAN YOU?????? FOR SCIENCE ZED! For science?
Genius!
And do the chickens bred from the ones that don't lay eggs, lay eggs?
All Dripstone... did you forget you're also allowed to sell dripstone blocks? They might be a better sell than the spiky dripstones.
1:20 I love how Zed draws a heart next to the sheep category
Is he Welsh or something?
(For those who don’t get it, an old stereotype is that Welsh people like getting a bit TOO close to sheep in certain ways that YT don’t like me saying. It’s a super old stereotype and nobody actually believes it, but it’s decently well known and laughed at in England)
@@Anonyomus_commenternope! in season five and six, he did a sheep themed gameshow, and has ever since been associated with sheep! you can find a playlist on his channel, it's called "Is That Sheep Looking At Me?". nice to know he still has a knack for sheep, even after all these years...
@@Anonyomus_commenteris that sheep looking at me
@@Anonyomus_commenter no he just loves sheep
@@iloveowls90 Does he love them like a Welshman or normally?
messing with your postbox AND doing Aerial Sheep Service alone... youre gunning for Tango to come after you now lol
The wool collective must be names "The Woolves of Wool Street".
How about the woolves in sheep clothing?
The woolves of wool string
26:15
You could name one of the librarians Darles Chickens. He could be a famous author and also manager of the chicken villagers.
I would like to thank you and whoever captions your videos. You're one of 2 mcyts from Hermitcraft, life series and Empires that takes time to custom caption their videos, it's very appreciated 👏 thank you
Right?? Grian usually does a really good job too. The custom subtitles make the vids all the more enjoyable and make clips with multiple speakers waaay clearer.
Woolves of Wooool Streeet - cracked me up, you absolutely HAVE to call the collective Wool Street now :D
The moral of the story is: if you play Bedrock edition do not EVER make technical suggestions to someone....EVER.
In this situation though, I think it’s less that everybody was trying to correct anyone, but rather the realization that you could have a villager riding a mob meant that everyone who played bedrock started imagining all the potential situations one could create with the baby-zombie-riding-chicken mechanic.
Like, you could end up with a villager riding… another villager!
…maybe
Yep and that the wiki should have either very clearly separate information on java and bedrock, or 2 separate pages that would be the best
Noted o7
Unless those technical suggestions are to another Bedrock player
And thus, the sport of aerial chicken jockey villager racing was born.
In old growth pine taiga, sheep hearts you.
Soooo…..Pearl needs to know you’re offline for mail?
I think you and the villagers should put on a travelling circus show! You could call it “Cirque du Cluck,” set up a tent in a few key locations, and of course, this would provide plenty of opportunities for dangling.
Thats such a great idea! We should showcase their walking and leading abilities as much as possible! :)
'Tis a shame that those villagers kept on trying to form Voltron when you led them around...but at least you could use the skin a little bit! I think my favorite one is the upside-down villager on top of a regular chicken...the hat looks like a little nest or basket to carry it in! I'd love to see what they'd look like in a clump of villagers when in different states of inversion...the horror!
Another great episode, I love that at 17:02 Keralis triggered the gravel elevator without realizing it.
"Come... And visit your old friend!"
*Villagers start suffocating*
"Not that friend!"
Hello darkness my old friend
In the nether you could rotate the portal by 90 degrees and elongate it so instead of 2 you have 1 really wide portal. That way if you enter the right hand side its one end of the ravine, and if you enter the left its the other side of the ravine.
That sounds like the portals Zed did in season 7 for the Cave of Contraptions
@@irrelevantduckfan4413 ahh season 7 established Zedaph as one of my fav hermits ( i only started watching in 6 with Mumbo)
Me: "Zedaph you need to check your mail!"
Zedaph: "Today I'm literally going to intentionally break the mail system, potentially for everyone, just so I can get my silly cosmetic portals to work in the place I put them instead of just, I dunno, making the ravine a bit longer."
Me: "Oh... Man I feel bad for Etho and Pearl..."
Thank God they made an item return station, but I'm sure that's broken now, too 😂
I feel like Zed also needs a pop-up Tango reminding him of server etiquette at this point.
Woolves of Woolstreet is a quadruple pun when you think about it: wolf in sheep’s clothing, wanting to make loads of money on Woolstreet, and of course the double wool word pun. It makes it even better that their accents naturally make them pronounce it like “woolstreet” 😂 It’s literally too perfect - It would be so cool to make Woolstreet the collective with the little stock exchange kiosks selling the different colors - OMG maybe with a little redstone the prices of each type of wool could raise and drop daily at random like each color is a different stock - too many creative opportunities it’s just too good
The prices changing randomly every day would be really funny, but what if the changes were based on how fully each color was stocked? So like, the color with the most in stock is most expensive and the color with the least stock is cheapest, and it dynamically updates as people buy wool, maybe they're also all linked somehow behind the scenes - then the woolstreet traders would be incentivized to keep their stock high for more profits, and they could even buy out their fellow stock traders to drop their prices or something depending on how intricate it got. It sounds like a wild idea and maybe that's too complex, but even just the random changes would be amazing.
Put fenceposts above the ceiling, tie the upside down chicken to the fencepost, push the chicken down till hit's hanging, you now have a chicken with reverse gravity walking on the ceiling.
If you go for dangling villagers, maybe use the Dinnerbone on both the villager and the chicken, it'd look like the villager is attached by the feet holding on the chicken's feet (like trying to hold on above a hole or something for example), might be looking funny and even more appropriate for the ravine styled-base !
I hope Zed can get the chicken jockey Villigers game-ified with chicken races. I want to bet on the chickens! Amazing video as always!
If the mafia wolves of woolstreet doesn't happen I will be so disappointed! 😂
You could put the chickens on a platform with the villagers in the ceiling so it looks like your trading with the chickens! :P
The “Wool Street” made me think of a color street where both the wool and concrete shops are on with buildings that are lined on both sides made of the color they represent. And maybe even some dangling sheep if you wanted.
I think the zombie villagers spawn more in that biome due to the fact you can get a zombie village there with all the cobwebs etc
But a zombie village spawning isn’t biome specific. All villages that get generated have a 2% chance to be an abandoned, or zombie, one.
No it's specifically the natural spawning rate like zombies and other hostile mobs. Zombie villages can spawn in any biome with regular villages, and the zombies inside them are part of the structure, not affecting natural spawns in any way. You can look at the biome .json files yourself. They have a weight of 25 when every other biome has it at 5
My first thought was that it had something to do with the village and pillage update. I don't really know why that would make sense, but that was also the update that brought foxes and sweetberries, which affect the same/similar biomes
You'll have a talk by Docm, he wants to build his shops next to his hourglass where you made yours.
Also, I know at least Stress has 2 wool permits and she already made a farm and has quite a lot. And Etho has sheep farms I don't remember if and what permit he has. Because wool farms are so easy to make, that'll probably be the case for the other wool permits, unless they really really don't want to make a farm, you and xisuma will have a hard time to gather the other permits, but hey if the wool collective could be an actual collective where each permit holding hermit works on the shop, not like Docm who made 90% of the wood shops
“Oh no no no no no! Not that friend” was hilarious
The woolves of wool street totally made me laugh. Great fun video as always! I'm endlessly entertained
*@ZedaphPlays*
17:45 You can *speed up the nether travel,* by (having a dispenser) throwing an item into the portal, some second(s) before you step into the portal.
Sending the item will start loading the other side of the portal, and then the "wobbly time" will be shorter.
If you can lure them upstairs automatically, you can have a slow "waterfall" of villagers
I believe chickens are unable to pathfind over vertical trapdoors. you could make a small chicken pen outside with no space for the villagers to suffocate
The permit and mail system is just begging for someone to set up a "we shop for you" service, where you send an order for the stacks of materials needed for a project, then receive back the items plus a bill, also to be paid via mail.
9:39 You should dangle them high, and make slime block launchers under it (similar to bdubs horse course).
Make loads, and make it random. Then you have to guess the slime to be launcher up to the villager to trade.
This. Entirely this.
I love seeing what goofy things people manage to do in this game! Especially this season it seems like more people are in that mood.
Calibrated sculk sensors can trigger on interacting with mobs. Maybe do a shifting maze to get to the villager jockeys?
Honestly, an enclosed "village" where the villagers can walk around and be obvious that they're riding chickens would be cool
Other Hermits: building, Redstone, Pranks
Doc: breaking the game
Zed: messing with silly functions that makes funny and interesting content
Zed: breaking the mail system
As it pertains to the portal to portal distance, it might technically be faster to go through the nether, but only if you are actually going portal to portal. Your starting and ending locations are likely to be farther into the base in either direction like 100% of the time, unless you build an interface or door at or behind the portals.
I can't help but think that if you could get the villager on an upside-down chicken in some sort of mirror floor looking setup, it'd make for a great "hold on..." moment. No idea how someone would pull that off, though...
The wool collective shop should definitely involve a game of “Is That Sheep Looking at Me?” xD
I feel like we missed out on a return of this well loved game show last season because Zed has run out of sheep trivia for the game. I think the game trivia could broaden out to include all things related to words that rhyme with sheep, lamb, ram, and ewe.
For gamifying the portals, you should build a toll booth in between them in the nether! Maybe with a tax, or papers please style, with another hermit to play
The Woolves of Wool St is just genius.
I love that zeds doing so much with other hermits this season! For no particular reason... would you be up for a murder mystery game with the other hermits?
I knew that Java doesn’t have as many zombie ridable mobs, but I forgot. Such a shame that Zed won’t be able to get a villager riding a:
- Villager
- Ocelot / Cat
- Wolf
- Piglins and variants
- Cow
- Pig
- Sheep
- Horses and variants
- Mooshrooms and variants
- Spiders and variants
- Panda
I like the villager with just the chicken upside down most. It's like he's got a clucky feathered shadow under him, like some kind of were-rooster
also: "The Baa-fia"
when you think it can't get any weirder, he plays the dinnerbone card. That's why I love you and your content
Flipflopalicious had me in stiches. That has to be the coolest wird ever and has me in such a fun relaxed vibe.
If you wanted to gamify your drip stone shop. You could recreate the mini game you use in the farm where they can keep what they get. However get nothing if they die then charge a fair few diamonds for the chance to win more
On the theme of minigames, having the villagers in some kind of loop system would be great. They get sent up some kind of elevator, then pushed off a ledge and slow-chicken-fall to the ground and repeat. And to trade with them you have to click them mid fall and trade fast because they'll get out of range quickly.
Dangling is fun, but I think it would be better if the villagers are able to walk around. I feel like seeing them moving around while riding the chickens is part of what makes it so great.
For the nether hub, why not make so going down the path to it randomizes which portal your allowed to enter to get in your base (like it'll block off a chosen portal)
I think the magma shop needs the slogan you used: We sell magma blocks hot
The Wool Collective could make a wall of shops and call it “The Wall of Wolf Street”, and call themselves wolves in sheep’s clothing, marketing the wool as if they produced it themselves
Zedaph. All I ask is that wormman appears for his wool shops. Your permits are WORMMAN COLORS!!! (Plus, with Xisuma ALSO being part of the wool collective, it is the perfect opportunity to bring our dynamic duo back if you know what I mean…)
old growth pine taiga = pacific north west forests? lots of spooky stories about those places so it fits the zombie thing I would guess,
I giggled when Zed bood the bamboo 😂
Right after the "bam!" into it. ;P
The Woolves of Woolstreet is great, the mascot could be a 'Woolf in Sheep's Clothing'
Literally the only thing I can think as I watch this is "Nobody Zedaphs the way Zedaph Zedaphs." 😂
THE WOOLVES OF WOOLFSTREET IS SO DAMN GOOD
lore wise, I would say the mossy cobble boulders are remnants of zombie villages or towns, which is why you see more
Here me, mini game idea, flying deals. Using a variety of slimeblock launches, minecarts jockey collections and perhaps zombie fear tactics to cause the chikengers to fly past a small floating platform as the player trys to juggle the trades, to sell items from variety of farms, to afford the glass.
Missed opportunity if you DON’T name the farmer “Food Cluck” because of the Food Truck business from the last episode.
Goes to the trouble of getting villagers on chickens. Puts them in normal villager cubbies.
Hey Zed, I think you should make a circus for the “freak show” of the chicken-villager jockeys and charge the other hermits to see them. You could do some really cool custom paintings. ( You would have to go through the permit office though 😂)
Villager jockey juggling trading hall. Use slime blocks to keep them constantly being juggled. Maybe a lectern can help you choose the trades you want easier access to
Zed, 4-5 diamonds/ stack for tinted glass. 3 diamonds is too cheap considering the effort it takes to mine amethyst. Plus you have no room to come down if sales dwindle and still be more $ than regular glass.
Also, When people need a bunch to make a farm they’ll come to you and pay whatever it takes.
Major extra points if you do a sheep replica of the big bronze bull statue from Wall Street.
Zedaph I really really love how you make the weirdest things in the game super interesting and fun. Last season was incredible, and it seems you are on the same trajectory in s10. I’m so excited!!
You could make an upside-down room where you can rig them to walk on the ceiling?
Love the episode! ❤
For the wool collective you should make a massive factory and name it Woolly Wonkas (like the chocolate factory :>)
Upside down adult chicken jockey villager....on an upside down adult chicken. 😂😂
Never thought i's see the day
Before the season is out, you'll have to do either 1.) a chicken jockey circus act 2.) a chicken jockey military attack.
i liked that this was a more laidback, "housekeeping" episode. still, can't wait to see what you gameify next
The comedic timing on your transitions is so good, it made me laugh twice!
Imagine getting BAMBOOzled
4:30 You don't need Minecraft to know that the Sun always rises from the East.
"I'm not going to make more" "I'm not going to move the whole farm" he said, full knowing that we know that's exactly what he would do...
I figured it would need some upgrades, i noticed the first one didn't have much of a way to easily eject the chicken villagers.
I love the wools of "wall street idea".
Also, both Villager and chicken both upside down and hanging = Chicken on the Villager head.
What about a water stream elevator that randomly spits out the falling flying villagers! And you have to fly with them to trade? 😅
11:59 the horror and dread I feel at this moment
12:47 MORE HORROR
Fun fact: for some reason, bone-mealing grass in the lush caves biome doesn't allow flowers to spawn, but you can get 6 different types of flowers in the dripstone caves and deep dark biomes
Do beacon effects apply to villagers and chickens? If so, having a beacon of regeneration nearby might be a good idea to make sure they don't suffocate themselves or do anything silly!
Also, we need to see all the different variations of dinnerboned villagers walking around, that would be absolutely hilarious!
I think you need to consult Pearl about the upside-down chicken villagers and which is the ideal combo. For their final home, I’d love to see them roaming free (safely within a coop). I love when the little chickens walk so slowly.
The 1st Dinnerbone is definitely my favourite.
This was such a fun idea and project that I decided to also subject myself to your misery and get a villager jockey of my own! I then put him at world build height to get the Star Trader advancement but "just a little taller." Was curious if you thought about doing that or launching one to space in a boat while you're sitting on a pig to trade with a villager at like 500 height!
As far as I remember, the Wall in Wall Street is from a wall that was meant to keep wolves out
So you two would be woolves in sheep’s clothing that have gotten past the wall XD
The collective wool shop MUST be called "Wool Street" now! It's just too perfect!
Woolves of Wall Street would be so fun, if you did like a small city block, each different building could be themed after their color and each shop could be in an individual building. I know you wanted to include sheep in the design so they could be the cars! Have them in mine carts on a loop on the roads!!
Wolves of Wool Street is such a great name!
I'd increase the price of your blaze rods. Stress sells end rods for 1 diamond per 16 and those are selling, and popped chorus fruit isn't the pricy component of the end rod recipe.
Well I'd say it's the opposite, with the blaze farm she has it's very easy for her to get blaze rods, chorus fruits are more tricky to gather looking at here pretty slow auto farm and manual plantation
First the Wood Collective, now the Wool Collective. I'm sensing giant collective build-off. Imagine putting that hourglass to shame hehehehe
