@@paulavu9946 i’m absolutely in the wrong, it wasn’t out of malice she was the most important thing in the world to me at the time but i was an idiot and maintained lies out of embarrassment and laziness and it destroyed us. I think abt her every day i’ve already turned down someone else who was interested in me because i don’t feel comfortable being someone’s girlfriend again because i think i’m going to hurt them no matter how conscious i am about trying not to.

I want her to be happy and healthy, and she wants the same for me; but we couldn't provide that for eachother, so we support one another towards achieving those ends. It wasn't an easy breakup by any stretch of the imagination, but we agreed to make an effort to remain friends in spite of the heartbreak.
It honestly is pretty refreshing to have eachother's support without any kind of romantic or sexual wants and expectations muddying the waters.
I've been all of these with separate break-ups and all of these in a single break-up...except the guy that calls 42 times 5 years later.

Years ago, I knew a girl with a male roommate. His girl broke up with him. She told me she came home to find him crying, drinking, and listening to Love Hurts on repeat. Now, I know guys are allowed to have emotions. But... Love Hurts? There's a limit, here.
Shouldn't a break up be a good thing? Break ups happion in BAD relationships, so breaking up is a good thing. Crying over a break up is like being stopped from going into a minefield for your own saftey and feeling sad that you didn't step on a landmine and die
@@nathanjereb9944 breakups don't have to be bc of a bad relationship. Sometimes circumstances make things difficult or it's better in the long run. Breakups also aren't always agreed to by both ppl. And the biggest thing is u still lost somebody that meant a lot to u at one point

@@danielchera9214 yeah it's not always both that agrees to break up, sometimes both DON'T agree but the position and situation they are in can force them both to break up. the worst thing is when you don't agree to break up but your partner wants to, and that's alright, not everything goes in your direction and everything happens for a reason, the only thing you should be grateful for is the memories u made with that person and the lesson you learned from that breakup and where your problem exactly was, that made your partner want to break up with you and that you could fix in the future.
