Hi, born and raised in NY, I lived in Nassau LI, and Suffolk County, the last 4 yrs in NY I loved in Port Jeff, alot of businesses were not there when I left in 82, I worked at Grandma's on Main, which is no longer there, I was young and new to the town when I got there in 79, beautiful town! we would hang out at the cove and watch sailboats come in! I was out of work living with my Mom, and didn't get to really enjoy it, that mall was just built when I left, I definitely have a few stories to tell about that town tho, some scary events! Thx for the tour brings back some good memories!❤

I now realize how little of Port Jefferson I actually saw. I came by the LIRR, and walked downhill to the village. It's absolutely beautiful. I will make it a full day's visit, next time. Thanks again, for sharing.

NO, it's NOT LAWNG ISLAND! For those of us who grew up on LI and didn't come from the city, it is and always has been Long Island with a soft "g."
Ehh, not a great stream, too many people and too many cameras. Urbanist does it the best when he is alone or maybe with max 4 people such as the collab with AK, WalkRideFly and NYC Walking Show.

Disappointing. You do better when you go it alone. I have lived 15 min from P.J. for 45 years. It has much to offer. I would have appreciated less food and more history. What about East Main Street.
