I had silver sneakers for three years now and I love them. I style them with dark blue jeans and they look fabulous with my read suit.
I cannot get no shoe socks to work for me I just gave up lol. They ride down in my shoes which drives me bonkers lol
Amazon has some with a silicone strip that stay up on me. I expect them to fail eventually but they’ve been through the wash multiple times with no problems yet
No brand of sock has worked for me besides Ondo.
I have yet to find a white or almost white sneaker that’s as comfortable to walk in all day like my Nike Air Max shoes. So, I have them in white, gray and black and a pair of white, black and gold. They look more trainer-ish, but they work the best when walking a lot.
I feel your pain! Lululemon is the ONLY brand I found that doesn’t slip. They have sticky pieces on the heel tab that keeps them up! So excited I FINALLY found some that work on my long, narrow feet. A little pricey, but they don’t slip!
I know we aren’t supposed to buy from Facebook because it could be a scam but I took a chance and bought Oondo, I LOVE THEM. They stay put, don’t slide up and down, and I when I get home I take my shoes off and wear them all day long in my house. The best!

Tha ballet sneaker style is not my favorite but I really loved how you styled those outfits with them. You really made them look cute. The look is not for me, but I can see a lot of fashion forward ladies really loving this trend so for them I say go for it!!! I did however like the Dolce Vita ones you showed. I own my firsr white Sam Edelman sneaker with platform (as yours) for $70 and I love it. It is made of soft leather and the tongue is seamless. I think you look great in your silver ballet sneakers in black pants, silver top an silver clutch. It looks chic and dressy so you can wear them to a nice restaurant or even a formal event.

I love wearing sneaker MULES because they're so comfortable and they allow more air circulation than regular sneakers. I have three pairs and wore them instead of sandals all last summer, when we had four months straight of 100 degree weather. I might look for a silver pair this year. 😊

I think all those outfits would look better with dressy flats or sandals. I do love the silver ballet sneakers though. I think the white sneakers stick out more.
I bought a pair of pewter ballet flats (Vionic Minna). Silver is a bit too bright for me. I wear them to the office with my grey uniform shirt and neutral trousers.
As for the tan shirtdress, I prefer it open. It is a nice print but it overwhelms when not broken up.

To me those last sneakers are two extremes together. I think the liquid silver in a more traditional design or the ballet sneaker in a traditional material would be easier to work with. In any case I learn a lot by analyzing what you put together.
RE: Silver sneakers (muted) .... Both Vionic (Uptown loafer) and Taos (Plim Soul Lux) have lovely muted silver sneakers. I love these brands.

I love the silver sneakers but I don't think I could wear them with the ribbons around my ankle. I preferred them with the jeans, they make such a bold and edgy statement that they'd elevate any jeans look. I have two pairs of silver sneakers but neither are as bold and shiny as these!
I was really excited about the ballet sneaker trend when you first mentioned it. But seeing them here (silver aside) they just strike me as kind of weird and clunky, not conveying the elegance of a true pointe shoe. And I’d love a styling silver show video, because clearly that’s hard!
