I remember seeing all 5 days of the 1974 test against the windies as a young boy. There were make shift pendals substituting for the current hard tops. The price for admission in the general bleachers was Rs. 25/-. Luckily my dad was a LM then and we got to watch the whole match from the M1 stand. I still remember Viv Richards and Gordon Greenidge debuting and the awesome catch Richards made. Keith Boyce, Vanburn Holder, Bernard Julien and Andy Roberts were the pace bowlers for the Windies led by Clive Lloyd. Great memories. Thank you.

The looks of the Stadium is very very old, My Grandfather has seen India vs Pakistan match in 1996 there since then no major renovation. Even cities like Chennai and Hyderabad are having some good looking Stadiums. My thought is we can develop a Stadium like Adelaide Oval in Namma Bengaluru, any comments?
