The movie features the talented Sidharth Malhotra (Student of the Year & Marjaavaan) in a double role as Captain Vikram Batra and his twin brother Vishal Batra. Kiara Advani (Good Newwz & Kabir Singh) stars as Dimple Cheema, Captain Batra’s fiancée. The film is directed by Vishnuvardhan, known for his work in Tamil cinema.

In 2015, when I visited the Kargil War Memorial for the first time and heard Capt Vikram's story, I was so emotional. I wrote to Vishal Batra after returning home and Vishal sir was very moved after reading my email. He asked for my number and called me up himself. We shared a very warm conversation, talked about Capt Vikram. Ever since, I text him every year on Capt Vikram's balidaan diwas. And he always sends such a warm reply. Our faujis and their families are so graceful even in their grief. I salute them all. Forever indebted to each one of our jawans.
Vikram's mother was expecting 1 boy after her daughters but she got twins and she was surprisingly happy. Later, when asked about Vikram after his martyrdom, she told that I was just expecting 1 but God gave me two sons because one is for this nation, for motherland 🔥❤️
My father fought in the Kargil war ,he’s retired now .he was also the survivor of the bomb attack shown in this movie . From Naga regiment
In this war america supported Pakistan due to geo political benefits, that's why we Indian support russia, we have lost our gems and we can't forget and forgive any thing that happened against us in any war till the end of time

What i really love about Shershaah is the cinematography, plus its shooted in real location of kargil mountains.
The treacherous terrain and the altitude with the climatic challenges.. In terms of heroism and toughness, this is probably one of the toughest wars fought globally by any armed forces. Respect Indian Army 👍🏼

Doesn't matter how the land looks it's our territory means it's our territory and our soldiers have always fought for it and that's why we love our indian army.our army is not the best by equipment but no country dares to be in direct fight with us as our soldiers are full of patriotism and they fights till their last breath.
