This video explains how to install a GTA Car Kit that enables Wireless Apple CarPlay and Wireless AndroidAuto in BMW X5 2014, 2015 and 2016 model years (F15).

Did you use a 3.5mm aux cable? Or does the aux run from the connectors supplied. I didn't see you using an aux cable or installing it under the arm rest.

yes, but for a 2018 i think there is an easier way to do it and it will cost you less actually
