Truly, Thiem hs improved by land slides. T future stars of tennis. But it remains to be seen if he has the level of consistency of tenacity and ferociouness n hunger for a long period of time. To be a champ, one needs all these in one solid n tight pack.

This highlight reel left out the 5-5 point in the 5th set breaker. That was one of the best points one will ever see at such a critical moment. Rafa could have easily lost that point, such was thiems defense. The 5th set was a highlight reel the level of play and shotmaking was beyond belief.

Most brutal and scariest level of tennis that I've ever seen... Though Rafa won, he got drained completely by Thiem..
Dominic Thiem is going to be another opponent whom Rafa will be struggling to beat in future... The tour is getting tougher for Rafa in pursuit of Fed's tally of Majors...

This highlight was good but they didn't include the 6-5 game in set 3 which had a mini reel of highlights nor the point at 5 all in the 5th set tie breaker. Nadal could have easily lost that point. Imo, that was the point of the match.

I like how all sets apart from the first were very competitive and not 6/2 or even 6/3 (though the 1st wasnt a simple set for Thiem either); but all went to 6/4 or 7 games and then two tiebreaks.
