As I've never been to university, these videos and your previous website have literally been my education. I've learned a great deal, thanks for having us.
Personal favorite talks: Semiology of Sweaters, Bookgirls, Pleasures, Korea, L'alterite, Semiology, Happy (Nick please try this format again!!), Leopardoptery, Tatamise, Lauper, Amagasaki, Libosa, Intellectuals, Clumsiness, the entirety of the 2018 South-East Asian tour (but in specific Post-Overshare and Enchantment [Nick, I **know** you made private a second OU from while in Veitnam, please relist, or privately send me the link. I beg you 🙇♂), Computers, Wood, Trottinette, Slow Trains, Waiters, Isolation, Compact Disc, Admiration, My Books, 2015, Athens, Thrifting, Paris Retro, Art as Guilt, the whole of 2023's Asia trip (but specifically My Japanese Dreamhouse, Tokyo, Juxtapositions [Nick it was great to see Tsrumibashi through your lenses once again]. Other fantastic talks include the podcasts from MrsTsk and of course Click Opera, most of which are still available (the ones that aren't available on the site I luckily have completely archived!) Much love, Momus!
your idiosyncrasy, taste and style are continually refreshing and inspiring. i have greatly enjoyed hanging out with these videos and i think they are an enormous achievement. i hope you continue making them and playing with the format as you see fit. thank you and congratulations!!
Random: I was reading the Bowiesongs blog today to see what O'Leary had to say about Bowie's "Don't Let Me Down and Down" song. I happened to read what I thought was a funny comment from you about how Bowie must have pulled out an Oblique Strategies card that said "Sing this as if your wife was singing it".
Momus, I just want to let you know I've been watching Famicon's Bart the General (among others of their videos) since I was about 15, discovered your music shortly after at 16 and now it's been nearly two decades and I only now learned that that is indeed a cameo of you. Insane that two beloved things overlapped like that and I had no idea at all for so long.
I came unto thee after watching the Iain McNay interview. I shall, over the coming centuries, endeavour to burrow through the backlog of content. Firstly, your brief mention of Ivo. Tantalising. Hopefully I'll discover more. I'm sure I will, actually. But it'll be a lambent affair - rhizomes of browsing rather than digging deep - so ignore the burrowing idea.
Hey Nick, I admire your lifestyle. I am a 25 year old (aspiring) filmmaker - ambitious to live a life like yours... do you have and tips for me? Do you make a living out of your music? Fan of the OU!

thank god for Momasu
Love Minima Moralia still - book that stays with you and remains intriguing!
Thanks for all the hard work putting together the OUs, I really have learned a lot here and tuition free!
Can't even remember how I came across your channel but since then I've learned so much thanks to you. Please, don't stop uploading them, professor!
Constant fountainhead of ideas, visuals and depth of thought. Your Open University has kept me still many a long dark year. Thanks Nick ❤

Good topic. Harold Wilson would be proud of you.
Nick, I’ve been watching since about 2018. I enjoy your videos very much. Good luck to you.

p.s I love your fashions
Congrats Nick
One of my life goals is to become the next host of this show whenever you're officially done with it. 😁
I have 837 thrifted sweaters you're going to need.
Great work!
Thanks Momus. I have loved each and everyone of your OU's. I have learned so much from them.
Momus, thanks for this series it's a true pleasure to watch and I've learned a lot!

LEE MAVERS
your new album is tooo good, is there going to be a vinyl release?
Alas no.
what's that song about dying and how people should memorialize you and carry on at your "going away party?"
It's Jake Thackray's Last Will and Testament: czcams.com/video/0OWdT-i4GFE/video.htmlsi=3AbNnKqb_yNvbZIs
Thank you for helping me gain clout with my OU NFT diploma, bargain at $499.97
I think if you started making ASMR videos you'd gain the internet fame that you crave
Jake Thackray seemed to be on the telly all the time in the 70s but seems to have almost been forgotten.
