Woman have less muscle density due to lower testosterone, so generally it wouldn't be fair game. It's something like 33% denser skeletal muscle mass in males so it makes a HUGE difference if a man and woman are the same weight and height. Who knows, maybe you can make up for it with practice or tactics... hasn't happened yet though.
