You'll love Royal Carribean and Indy, but there is more of a party on Carnival .

Yeah we heard thats a big difference between the two cruise lines. Sheds and I prefer the Vista and Excel class due to having a second pool area away from the constant loud music. We are so excited! Thanks for watching and happy cruising!

We are on cruise number 29 and have tried many on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, NCl and 1 P&O. We love the Royal ships , the Carnival Party and NCL food. Celebrity was great for a slightly higher class and P&O was really aimed for older people. Keep up the good work guys . Next for me is Carnival Sunrise in January from miami to see my son who is a singer on board. 👍 🚢 ⚓️ 🛳

In your opinion is the excel class worth the extra price over the horizon? My mom and i did the horizon southern carribean back in January. I want to get myself and my gf who would fly in from the uk for her first ever cruise on one. And I'm wondering if it's really lives up to the hype

Hey Guyerbassist, thanks for the question. The Excel ships do have more space, more bars and activities, but also larger guest capacity. The Horizon (or Vista Class ships) and Excel class ships are my top two for Carnival. We sailed on the Carnival Celebration during Spring Break earlier this year and although it was a FULL ship, we never waited for service except the formal nights in the MDR, but that is pretty typical regardless of the class ship.
All in all, you can't go wrong with either BUT I do like Vista Class a smidge more just because they are a bit cheaper and you get 75% of the amenities of an Excel class on the Vista Class. Hope this helps!

How to stay on a cruise budget, don't gamble in the casino. That blew my budget out of the water 😂

I feel you on that. I havent always come out ontop. In all of our 7 cruises, i gambled 5 of them. Some more than others. Even though i havent gambled in two cruises we are still going on Jubilee on a casino offer!
