I officially have 2 fishing magnets. A grappling hook, and a decent metal detector. Now to get out and give it a shot. Snow has been taking forever to melt. Finally getting good weather!

I would love to visit Australia, but it's a bit late in life for me now. I was offered a plum job there many decades ago with accomodation and a job for life, but my dear wife and soulmate was not at all keen as she dearly loved her family here in the U.K. sadly she passed in 2015, and now I am totally alone, after several moves no friends and all family either well distant or passed away. Anyhow, I would love the warm climate, but will say I did not expect it to be so windy there as it is. Great post as usual, boy I wish I was young again and could travel around as you guys do.

The guy jumping in there is totally nuts. If you knew how big some bull sharks are in sydney harbour, you wouldn't even dip your toe in there. A guy lust his arm and leg at garden island, and many dogs have disappeared while swimming, I saw a 6-7 ft bull shark caught at Abbortsford in the 1990's

I just love how he found the phone soon after he got off the phone with the guy! That was crazy but so cool! I love watching videos like this! There’s so many crazy different things you can find in the water it’s insane!

Just in case it hasn't been mentioned yet...never try turning on a phone found under water like that one. If any water had gotten inside you could fry the inner workings of the phone. Take it from someone who did cell phone tech support for 11yrs.

Just goes to show how clean our harbour is compared to other harbour's and canals.
You need to learn a few tricks from the boaters. They wrap a road around once or twice around a pole to increase their pulling power.

It's not infested with sharks. Sharks come into Sydney habour but prefer the deep ocean's through Sydney head's.

The rope is probably a mooring line that’s supposed to have a buoy connect to the end and it has a massive weight at the bottom and it’s to keep the boats in place

Don't try to turn on any electronic device that's wet. You'll ruin it that way. Toss it in a bag of rice, or at worst send it to someone to repair it if you want to keep using it or at least want to save your pictures.
