Installation was a breeze (no pun intended). It actually took longer to open the box then it did putting the side extenders on and sitting it in the window opening. It's a perfect alternative when you want airflow, but not the AC. Just might order another one for a different room. UPDATE: Bought another one like I said. They work great. Why not have two...

I have slept with a box fan every day of my life. Except for when I go spend the night at grandparent's or whatever. Box fans are my favorite, they sound the best to me for some reason.

I have a small oscillating fan going on and this playing at the same time myself. :) The box fan in this video is louder than my oscillating fan even at my oscillating fan's highest volume! LOL....:D

Glad it helps you sleep. I have a 8hr one of these in my playlist if you need one to play all night. I also have a 8hr Hotel AC one that works for a lot of folks with tinnitus, you might want to try.

It is currently 2:27 am and I am over at a friends house and I have migrated from the floor to a couch in another room. Then I had to basically do a in the dark obstacle course to get here and I realized there is no fan which I need to sleep. This will have to do. And I will be in my nice bed tommorow so that's nice!

I didn’t think there would actually be videos of fans running. I love sleeping with the fan & im tryna break this habit to lower the electricity bill😫😫
At first this video was slow to start, the story line I felt was a little lacking, although after an hour of watching this gripping video, it soon became apparent to me that the protagonist in this gripping story is so much deeper than I first anticipated. Through the hardships that they fought through, the loss of the mother, and the father's deteriorating health from a crippling alcohol addiction. It kept me on my seat for so long, never knowing what was going to happen next, whether they would find the killer, find the the jewels or finally fall in love. I'm so glad that this beautiful masterpiece brought about a happy ending, when they were on the beach saying their vows at a most magnificent wedding. Of course always knowing the terrible battle they had to go through to get there. Wonderful cinematography really helped capture the emotion of the events that unfolded, from the hell they went through, to the finally that had me in tears. Thank you for sharing this with us all, and I cannot wait to see more of this.

Reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in the hills of Virginia. We didn't have air conditioning in the house, all we had was an old window fan that sounded exactly like this. I went to sleep many a night to the sound of that old fan. This brings back so many memories of my childhood! Thank you!
