@@iosonoi.7132 well it's also uncommon for aussie sharks to encounter a proper tech company with a proprietary tech. In the US it's much more common

They always want to to do 30% and 50% deals. 15% seems to be the lowest they go.

She was like "final offer and I'm not speaking again"
And then changed the offer after one minute 😂😂
And they knew it that’s why they squeezed her down to 15+5 with 50k customer contingency.
Some sharks may get disgusted and say “you don’t interview me, I interview you”
And she's so arrogant that she will NEVER admit that she misjudged them that they weren't there to make a deal after they accepted HER deal. I would NEVER want to work with her.

One of the best pitches i've ever seen was Lime in the fish tank invented by Jimmy Kimmel and Guillermo.. That Pitch was so Perfect and irreplaceable... The short clip, Guillermo with the Lemon is on another level🤣🤡
I love how these guys didnt give in to this womans belligerent style of negotiating. The way she was offended by their ability to say no is annoyingly rude.
A lot of people just use Shark Tank for free publicity with 0 interest in giving away any of their company at the cost of air time for other entrepreneurs who actually wanted to do a deal. When Naomi and Steve said that they don't think they're there for a deal, I imagine that's what they were talking about because that's exactly what it looked like. And I agree with them, that's BS, and anyone who does that deserves to get torn to shreds by the sharks, hopefully to the point that the "free publicity" ends up hurting their business.

Personally I think the product is just okay (love how internationally it can grow tho) I love the devs/owners. I think they deliberately overshot the valuation super high to gamble with the chance to bargain, and they succeeded. Kudos. I hope they do well!
That was odd then add that sprinkle the Cardly Owners gave a shark a contingency rather than the other way around.

I think it was a combination of (a) she really wanted a deal, and (2) it really looked like they were just there for free publicity with 0 interest in selling any of their company. When she and Steve said they weren't there to make a deal, I think that's what they were talking about. It's not uncommon, and those people deserve to get torn to shreds who take away time from another entrepreneur that could've really benefited from the meeting.
These are sharks the minos with cash. The northa America versions are the real sharks and ruthles when needed. And would have tossed them out for wasting time
