Great car !
Long live the uk :) England 🇬🇧
Yeah, mine has steel wheels with plastic original wheel covers, four rounded headlights, light brown clothed passenger compartment, chrome fender trims and is a 4 Litre. On the other hand has the same body colour as yours.
E reg???? That dash looks more tech than my 2020 330i ffs! Lovely car mate. You really love her don’t you. Nice to see 😎
Beautiful car! Great video.
Meticulous procedure ! But good for the car.
I have used Tamiya Clear Orange paint (X26) on the side repeater internal lens cover and got it through an inspection.
Nice video! Thanks. Same car as mine that I want to take out of storage! Any ideas on my metric wheels and tyres?
Not sure wether to change. S.
Metric wheels and tyres, the tyres have become very expensive. What a lot of owners tend to do, is purchase a set of 16" wheels, say for an X300, and use those instead, keeping the Metrics for show purposes. Mine has a set of 16" Borbet Design As in the correct 5x120 offset, with the correct centre bore size. I ditched the metrics that it originally came on, way back in 2002. Intially, it rode on some lattice style wheels from an XJ81 V12, then a set of XJR 4.0 16 inch wheels, and finally, the Borbets.

Do a video showing the wheels and tires:)
My dad was engineer by the way , and he taught me about metric vs imperial. :) he was a machinist and engineer
You missed a step and that is to make sure you have a fully functional second car 😅
I’m not sure I understand. It is currently MOT’d and fully functional, just on a SORN for winter.
I'm already using a 2nd replacement car...😂
Can just unclip distributor cap and move aside , saves taking all the plugs out ...
If I recall, I think I started it without the plugs, so there was no compression. If an engine has been sat for a long time starting with full compression can potentially cause issues, though that really does depend on the engine. The AJ6 is a comparatively modern design, so seems to handle long layup, far better than older engines.
