- Today we are joined by @PJAudits and @AJAudits as we take a look at British Sugar PLC, Wissington Sugar Factory, College Rd, Wissington, King's Lynn PE33 9QG.
We are immediately recognised upon arrival due to the recent conversation we had with the British Sugar driver in our Heinz Video (here - • We Take People Filming... )
We hand out a few keyrings and then continue the walk around.
We get a guided drone tour (in parts) and then end the video with the fly over to the biggest medicinal cannabis farm in the country.

Still blows my mind that the UK grows nearly half of the medical cannabis for the rest of the world and our old health ministers husband owns one of the biggest farms but they still believe it has 0 health benefits.
They are robbing the good people of this nation of a medicine that helps with so much.
All this grown here and the amount you get in the street for a tenner is preposterous.
Import prices for what a Chinese bloke grew in a house down the road.
Because they also know it cant be taxed as it can be grown anywhere. Just do it anyway the world is full of corrupt hypocrites and is gunna end soon anyway.. Enjoy your last years
Great video 👍 But it raises so many questions, like why can't anyone grow marijuana, why only selected few in society get permission through licenses? Or why so many hemp growers were closed down which is a quality building material and environmentaly superior to other materials that actually cleans the soil of toxins. It suggests to me it's all about the money which only the wealthy can play. Let's not forget who the world's biggest opium dealer in history was.

The staff here were 100% professional as well as respectful to the auditors. A total credit to the company, so many other companies can learn from this audit. No drama, no aggression and no negative interaction.
They are relaxed and cool, just goes to show smoking cannabis has its benefits lol

Im hooked daily now, finish work at 4.30 and straight onto youtube watching your video audits. 1st, the one you release daily then after watching any through your year of recording. Quality. Subscribed and now inspired by you to save up get the DJI Mini 2, as had a Phantom 2 Pro but got rid of as too many flight restrictions with the larger and heavier ones. I love all the auditing channels including hotel reviews, airline reviews, right up to the inyerface Kolee style. We get to see unblemished reality without any bias. So refreshing and so much more informative than anything on TV. Nice to see the nod to AB also - you're all documenting the times we live in so well. Much love.

28:39 The AG bags at the start of the drone footage, are also used by farmers to store grass and forage from corn ( when cut using a forage harvester ), which ferments inside the bag to turn it into silage. If those bags do contain the waste from the sugerbeet, they store it in the bags, to keep it fresh, so they can then sell it, to companies that will turn it into animal feed.
So............what is Your point? We all knew that, youre not special for that comment....
Thats what Farms do.....these Pissant Auditors will make up 15% of Murders in next 10 yrs.

It's used in our AD plant.
I would have thought if they where fermenting the by product they would pipe the carbon dioxide into the grow greenhouses. I thought this was one of the main reasons got involved with the project. Well that and the money

At 25:02 its not a faulty lock. I pick locks for a hobby show issues with locks with FAULTS... Lock on there is a good Squire combination padlock that someone cannot be bothered to secure correctly as it would mean putting a full combination in to open..... Difficult with workers opening on a morning or Security in the evening. A Keyed lock would be better, and keys given to right people.... I could go on, and on.... but end of the day, they could not be bothered scrambling cod on lock to secure it correctly.

@@leeroy4208this is the most sensible comment on here. I've often wondered if you could run plants on a 20 hour or less "day" - no idea if that's been done. So, veg for 15/5 then flower for 10/10. I can't smoke anymore as I overdid it shall we say in my younger years, but I still adore the plants, seeing trichomes change from clear to cloudy... They are such incredible plants to work with
I work with cannabis here in Canada that greenhouse looks massive! But a shame they only grow CBD a strains. They could grow and even breed some crazy quality craft bud if they really wanted to and could legally.

My grandad and dad used to sell them 1/2 hundred weights of sugar pre 80s. The beet was dug out from sides of road back in day and some were the diamater of large trees. Then they stopped.buying like that.

39;29 If you look closely at the glass house roofs they have mechanical horizontal blinds fitted. The blinds are designed to stop the light and make the green house/s complexity blacked out. This is necessary to control the light and the day/night time cycle (the seasons) in order to make the plants flower at the right time. Amassing to see hydroponics on such a huge scale.
British Sugar factories don't support local farmers. It's just that there's a limit to how far the raw sugar beet can be economically transported. BS will not hesitate to close down an uneconomic plant and leave the local farmers in the lurch like they did in York.

There is a bridleway that runs along the river that separates the sugar plant from the weed greenhouses so you can get really close up there.
