You hit so many points bruh. Like you said, we shouldn't suffer because there are cheaters who wanna abuse shooting. The constant fixes and patches just mess up this game and the devs are out of their minds for wanting us to shoot irl fg % when we're playing a video game. Every 2K game starts with a lot of potential and just dies after a month.

PlayStation does not associate with that product so why can you legally sell a product that directly interferes with the consumer base. I thought it was weird that they put the daily spin behind those Affiliation quests. It's a turn off for a lot of people that don't wanna play that mode.

Ima nobody, but what infuriates me is these changes also affect mycareer games. Im just trying to play mycareer on Pro for the experience and facescan. Now I cant even hit free throws with a 75 ft because of the re occuring changes every season

What folks don’t understand is that 2k really does listen. The problem is they can’t make everyone happy. You have streamers and casuals fighting each other over how things should be but 2k can’t find a happy medium

Casuals a suffering because these wanna be comp players can’t go one year without looking for ways to exploit the game because they don’t want to actually learn how to play the game. Look at the magic Johnson move they keep doing… it’s been like this. Defense locks up everything except for moves like that. They need defense to take more skill which opens up more ways to score on offense other than the only 2 moves that work in the game every year
@@toomanyls8306 magic Johnson is easy to lock up you can only speed boost to that one side his ball hand speed boost is dirt slow play the opposite side . The problem I feel like is people get tired of hiding behind screens & 3 hunting . Which is honestly the most annoying shit in 2k but it’s basketball . But making it so people miss wide open 3’s with take over all because the games making you keep a low percentage is crazy & lying about RNG is even worse . Like we aren’t dumb you can’t force percentages lower without RNG I’ve timed my shots perfect with take over & all & bricked multiple shots . That’s going to destroy the game defense shouldn’t get rewarded with a miss for not being able to defend .

Rease don’t talk about the dunk meter bro. They changed it from last year and the year before. If someone in standing in front of you, you cannot dunk on them. You get a little meter that’s really sped up. They have to be on the side or on you hip for the meter to be big.
But the meter is consistent with when you get it the size doesn’t change mid animation
Good thing I stopped playing this game after hearing the zens are back and all the updates and patches that 2k be doing. This game is cancer.

It’s super weird to me. Shooting nearly 60% in ProAM which is suppose to be the hardest difficulty but in the 30s in rec and 40s in park lol

Just make defense like NBA Live 19s where you can't slide off them unless you get beat then make shooting like freestyle 2 street basketball where you have to contest based on their stat like a 99 3 should have to almost be blocked BUT make blocks easier to get.
I just started 2k this month. I can hit shots pretty consistently in the Rec. But the park's timing is other worldly. I forgot what year that was that u needed a jumper for the park and 1 for the Rec. Like 2k19 or 20. The strength factor is ridiculous as well. I get they didnt want 25 strength builds but bruh, the bump animations are insane!!

Also, it goes without saying, the proliferation of Zens make it almost an impossible problem for 2K to solve unless they completely change the shooting mechanic and make it something other than pure timing based.
For example, they could make the green windows large but change the perfect release window change based on context (i.e. the green window is always 50 ms, but on Wide Open jumpshots, that window is between 530ms - 580 ms, and on heavy contest, the green window is between 479ms - 529ms). But whatever they do will also affect real human users and it wouldn't be something you could do off muscle memory... it would have to be based on reacting to the current situation (which the community would still probably dislike - i.e. 2K21).
Bro they just patched speed up under contested so it's impossible to turn all things back

the dunk meter with hof precision dunker is terrible, that was the only thing you was wrong about, you cant shoot or dunk consistently, the game only want s you doing mid range jumpers like KOBE, mid range and lay ups are the only semi consistent ways to score, (semi)

Everyone had me thinking i needed to build my jumper off timing release that wasn’t the answer for me i built a jumper off timing stability and the jumper is way more consistent then any previous jumper I’ve made this year..helped me hopefully it can help you
2k at release date was on pace to be one of the best 2k's. But everytime they update something the games get ruined
I knew 2k was going to cater to the sweats because they are the ones shooting on low three ball builds and go 5/5 with a 79 3 ball as is they were klay Thompson while a player with a 94 three ball goes 1/5 with the wonky shot queue animations so they can't even time it from que or muscle memory when 2k is playing with your shot sometimes you don't even have a green window😮 meaning you're going to miss it regardless of good timing or not hence you're wide open but you release earlier than queue then it should be early not slightly late that's a super fast speed up if you release before the ball is gone and it says slightly late.

I can’t speak on the regular shooting but I definitely speak on sharp takeover cause me and my friends play 3v3 against each but as soon as they got sharp takeover and they literally be greening from full court but the dude had like a 99 3 open full court shot so I decided to shoot a fade away 3 from full court with a 85’ three and i green it to the point wear everyone literally attempted it cause how normally it goes in

every time i play its a new update n every time it seem like shooting is worse, i had no problem shooting at all before the patch and im one of the ones who the first 2k i ever had problems shooting on was 2k23, let us try to get used to the new shooting changes at least a couple weeks instead of changing it weekly and dam near daily
I’m just done with 2k and been on that Fortnite grind having fun. Also people doing the same moves is another reason I got bored of people in this game cause it’s the same stuff, It’s so boring seeing it every game and everyone missing and locks get steals after 1 try, the game is just awful to me

Controversial take, 2k labs posted the short but if you watch the video, it explains since the green window is bigger with a 10ms difference, the boost for no meter became smaller due to the balancing of the game.
