Visit to Dormitories by Minister Shanmugam and Indian High Commissioner to Singapore

Following the Little India riot on 8th December, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law K Shanmugam visited foreign worker dormitories on the 11th and 12th of December. He held dialogue sessions with Indian foreign workers. The workers shared their concerns regarding the incident and were assured by Minister Shanmugam that as long as they are law abiding, they have nothing to fear. The Indian High Commissioner to Singapore Ms Vijay Thakur Singh also paid a visit to the dormitories and held dialogue sessions with Indian foreign workers to address their concerns.
