You are absolutely correct. There is a good chance her health problem is from grief. The medical field are just now recognizing how grief can affect our bodies & psyche in severe negative ways. Stress is a killer. I was healthy until my husband died,which I took very hard. I started to have so many symptoms & illnesses. Arthritis and leg pain, anxiety, severe insomnia & digestive problems to name a few.
Mind & Body are very related! Stress can cause lots of neurological problems! Wearing high heels might not help ! Those sky high high heels would not work for me! Scary! 🤔🤔👠👠👠👠

Start this daily self-care, and get results you need. Exercise in slow motion, in the morning, use small plates and small portions, extra salad, go to bed or just for a rest when needed. I met a woman in the hospital out in the Midwest and she had it. She called it stiff man's syndrome and as we were sitting there her leg went straight out with the most severe cramps this is an extremely painful disease and she was on some serious pain medication. She said it could remain like that for hours at a time. I still pray for her and now I'll pray for Celine and others like her . God bless them 🙏❤️

I'm so glad yours was the first comment. I really thought this too. I find it rare in news anchors and this was quite refreshing. It was like they were genuinely interested and genuinely saddened by, not just Dion's diagnoses but anyone developing this awful disease.
Stress can cause a myriad of diseases that are auto immune, take care of yourselves people!!!
The thing is, we are all hard wired a little differently. Genetics play a role in our ability (or inability,) to tolerate stress and relieve it in a healthy way.
But I mean yeah, stress, the silent killer! It's so messed up and also interesting, just how stress can affect the body on a literal *physiological* cellular level.
I'm really heartbroken for Céline, it is so unfair when things like that happen to the best people. She is a pillar for so many of her fans, I really wish her the best in all areas of life.
So unfair for her? Why not her , is my response. She makes a comment saying I'll Be Back? I guess she can dream. But this is progressive. It doesn't go away. She will daily be in treatment. And the pain is unimaginable. Your body is stiff like a steel pillar. legs arms, jaw, back, fingers, neck. the best we can hope for is to have a spokes person like this woman, so more money and research can happen, towards help without drugs. B/C she will be drugged most of the time. Very sad for All inflected with SPS.

I feel sorrow and sympathy for all sufferers of autoimmune disease which is increasing daily. I also have one that affects my whole body and now I am disabled and unable to do a lot of things. But I know there are worse sufferers than me. I hope you are all able to get the help you need which is not easy for the average person.

I saw a young woman with this. She is completely stiff from the neck down. She's lovely and she is handling her affliction with grace. I don't know quite how, but she doesn't stop her from reaching her goals to work in fashion for a magazine. God bless Celine, she is incredibly talented and to have her talent diminish with the onset of this disease must be devastating.

I feel that the stress causes lots of problems in our bodies!
I have Auto Immune disease that actually cripples me when flared up. Mine was diagnosed as a muscle deterioration disease. Called Dermatomyositis. Very awful at times. I feel for Celine. Prednisone is the only med that helped me but with devastating side affects . I took that for 6 years in massive doses. Now with stress I have flare ups. I’m so sorry for her. I know her pain.

My mother was diagnosed with this 4 years ago. Currently sitting in our 8th day of ICU. This disease's spasms have crushed my mom's ribs and she can barely sustain her airway without assistance. This disease is very hard, especially in a state like Mississippi where our only nuero doctor who had been helping us is moving away. What do you do with that?

I feel terribly for her. I have multiple Autoimmune Conditions. They took almost 50 years to diagnose. Mine was triggered by mold exposure in the workplace between 2008-2012 in a $10.00 an hour part time job in a "right to work state" so I had no health benefits or recourse. ALL of my treatments have been out of pocket for me - thousands of dollars over the past 9 years. I have been told that people with Autoimmune Diseases die fifteen years earlier than other without. Sadly, Autoimmune Diseases are More Common in Women;

Celine ....im sorry to hear you are not well. We are all sick with something. I was recently diagnosed with Carcinoid tumor which is a rare cancer. I am fatigued, I get muscle spasms too...to fight I have to eat healthy so the cancer cells commit suicide. I sing but not as well as you. Money can’t buy knowledge! Let food be Thy medicine and eat less! Our bodies will do all the work to prevent us from diseases and cancers. I recently learned that Stiff person syndrome is possible from the side effects of Covid vaccine.

The vocal cord controls by the cranial nerve x( vagus nerve) that was damaged as well.

I wonder if this could be the case with me too. My right leg is involved my pelvis and muscle in my lower body area. I just woke up with it one day 1,5 years ago. It has been a daily struggle. I found some relief in CBD oil which can help against muscle spasms and helps to relax the muscle.
