"I didn't like sitting in the classroooms and listening to boring lectures" After 6 years ( 2 years wasted for over-attitude"): Gets a job in a s**t company with lowest turnover. After 0.1s: The company closes... After 6s: He sells pani puri not masala puri. 😂 Attitude is not everything, knowledge + attitude + skill is everything.
You serious!!!??? They really passed on the guy who has done TWO major projects and FIVE minor projects. Do they even realize he also holds internship with TWO reputed companies!?
Jack Ma: I failed for many funny things. I applied job for 30 times but I got rejected for all of them. I went for police 5 people apply, 4 got accepted. I am the only one got rejected. I even went to KFC, 24 people went for the job, 23 people got accepted, I am the only one got rejected. I applied for Harvard, 10 times got rejected. When I met with this guy, he asked me to write something on the board. Normal people would ask:" Write what". The interviewer said: "Anything". So I wrote "Failure is the mother of success." After the finish writing, the interviewer ask me to get out. I really don't know what happen...
Hope no youngster gets carried away watching this ... This is absolute good one ...but not in corporate world rather few startups should accept this style.
Well obviously the point of this video was "A career where you cant be yourself is not an important career". Lets hope we got more mature startups in the future that respect this and be a little less unorthodox.
It is very foolish for any company of any kind to hire such a person over the other candidates. Even startups need employees who can handle boring stuff, can work as per deadlines and can portray their company properly, maintaining their professional image. The only thing is perhaps he has an entrepreneurial spirit, having worked on a project with no one to back him, and sticking to it till it's done.
so if i waltz into an interview and tell my employer that i'm going to dress unprofessionally and be bored through lectures and not pay attention that i'm going to get hired??? GREAT! where do i start?
@@ClassicRockMan70 😂😂what do u do since ur so well known about what to do and not to do in LA/US and in interviews in general,u must be very successful 😲
How NOT TO hire a good employee. Plot Twist: The interviewer got fired for hiring a bad employee and he ended up applying jobs from multiple companies in which now the people who he had rejected became the interviewer.
In our phony world, there exists a deep yearning for authentic, creative individuality, and moxie. That is what the job interviewer was really looking and that's what he finally found in the last candidate. Even though it exaggerates to make a point, there is much truth in this little film.
For those of you who are bashing this video: They never claimed that it was real. And judging from the format of this video it could have just been a simple school project. The script is quite creative, because of how this particular scenario was put together. This video really shows how creative people may see things in a different view, and in this case he was thinking out side of the box. I'm sure most of you were pondering about the word that you would write on the board if you were in this interview. He did what he was told and did it in a different approach than what most people would have and that's what makes it special. Many of you will respond differently (whether you were the person in charge of interviewing people, or the one being interviewed). Everyone has their own opinion, so please have some respect.
It's Impractical because If you will do this in you interview round then they will judge you and will say that you are over confident... Buy Yes it is effective in Stress Interview, I guesss..
If that is what he meant, he should have said "Write the word 'something' on the board. English is full of ambiguity. If you communicate for the purpose of confusion, that is plain stupidity
I think that was the whole point to see if someone would actually write the word “something” without needing to phrase the sentence in an obvious manner
See it is true if you don't represent yourself how will you flourish for example people in the world believe in today's India than that of the India when It got indepence Cox today we are confident and that example is Mars mission success fight and fight there not defeat until you accept defeat
The interviewer never asked anything about programming languages, or anything job related. Come on dude focus on the qualifications and experience not on masala puri or pani puri. Every hardworking individual deserves a job which is commensurate to his qualifications..

the interviewer looks like a very depressed person.
Today on another episode of "Shit That Never Happened!", we present you THIS interview!
This happens all of the time in Los Angeles. We don't want robot co-workers, we want outside-of-the-box thinkers.
