This is like getting your bruises kissed good as a female, because we have all been abused in either a physical, sexual, emotional way, it doesn't really matter.
I'm thinking about your beautiful and extremely vulnerable reaction to the trilogy by Ren (yes I'm gonna refer to it like that from now on, who's gonna stop me? 😸), and somewhere feel like this song by Chinchilla, but also Fingers (LIVE) might be up your alley, not only because it's fucking awesome, but because if you in any way lived through domestic trauma, these two songs makes it somewhat easier to breathe. At least for a while.

Yes! I saw someone see the live first and then the official- and it’s almost how I would now recommend it- I use to say the lyric video and then the official- because you can get lost in the video and not realize the lyrics and her talent- the official video after this will definitely pack a “punch”!!$!

Yes! As DA woman- there are so many parts to this and fingers that have helped me- when this one dropped a few months ago it was about 8 months after I finally left him and I was finally learning to not let him a narcissist pollute my head- going to therapy and realizing the cycle over 16 years-
The music video is epic- and what many in my women’s group have had thought of doing- but don’t do- I played the video for my group and so many of them have fallen in love with her. I would go do the music video as well- she produced the beats and the video was the first she did after separating from her label and becoming independent- so the more exposure she gets on the office video and live , the better- plus this version is different - different feeling and tone than the other.

She is better then Rhianna and Beyoncé. She also writes her own songs, produces her own music, and became independent this year after a very rocky relationship with her management and label. This song is kind of a middle finger to them, and trying to suppress her art and talent. She is way too talented to have some big executives trying to manipulate her. She can do this by herself. She is gaining traction and will be a star. Just wait. And better yet, she will control her music and who gets their hands on it. She won’t let Taylor Swift 2.0 happen.

She’s absolutely incredible, technically this one is 👌
And there are no vocals she can’t wrangle so it’s an impressive performance for sure, but the vibe of the song matches her original arrangement (no holds barred angry!) and this one just felt like it was trying to be angry as well with like, some “creepy” vibes thrown in, and I felt like she should have completely gotten rid of the anger in this version cause it makes me choose “who wore it better style” (my problem, not hers, just an observation) cause her og version OWNED the angry vibes
Fingers is good also, second/third/nth vote that up as a good react option for sure 💜

This was a fantastic reaction, and made me see the song a little differently, as I was actually a bit disappointed in this one…. 😱shock horror….. I am not taking anything away from her amazing talent or vocal ability, for me she is the best out there right now. I think my expectations were a tad unfair. The original lyric video to this song absolutely blew me away. Then she dropped the video and I appreciated the playfulness of it, but i felt a bit underwhelmed (again my expectations). “Fingers - Live” for me is one of the greatest performances I have ever seen in my life, so I was excited to see what she would do with Little Girl Gone, but sadly it didn’t have anywhere near the impact of the original version. So this being your first encounter of solo Chinchilla is interesting, makes me wonder would I have felt the same had I heard this version first? 🤔

Omg, finally someone who said what I've been thinking but never said because it feels like so wrong to say anything bad about Chinchilla... She's AMAZING, the best new female singer I've come across in a decade but after seeing Fingers live I had really high expectations for this one but unlike ''Fingers'', where I like the live version more than the studio version. I was expecting to feel the same about this song, but the studio version is so much better in my opinion.
