Definitely closer to what I was looking for than substitution spam. Actually, I went looking for Naruto tas because I want to see a lore accurate tas involving one character curbstomping or at least fighting a bunch of powerful opponents at once. And I think composing fight choreography so that it fits the skill and precision of the characters is as much in-line with the spirit of tas as pure gameplay tech demonstrations are. These characters are supposed to have godlike reflexes but are still human beings. Therefore they should have uncanny skill but still be prone to openings and mistakes. And usually those mistakes happen deep into a chain of interactions; like trading down chess pieces until one side has a decisive lead.
@@qdakid7776I just want to share an exception: Mahou shoujo Madoka magica movie 3 has a fight scene, no dia/monologue, no flashbacks, no cutaways, just straight up fighting for 4 minutes.
Really good use of the jump and the move diversity to improve the coregraphy by making them really dodge each other attacks instead of just using the substitution jutsu! You earn yourself a sub!
Talk about nostalgia. Used to play this game with my little brother for HOURS on the weekends, we’d usually play till like 4 am and then catch the Inuyasha episode before going to sleep. Good times.
Man, I forgot how good the sound effects were in this game. I love the zipper noise for the claw attacks, really makes it feel like Naruto's claws are shredding through Sasuke. What a classic

Only complaint I have is that Sasuke has a move that is his piledriver, which caused Naruto to turn into his 1 tail form initially. You can use it by doing pressing up on the nunchuck and the A button at the same time. Other than that, I’m impressed.

I like the combo where he bounced off the rock and this game is just really sick I let a friend borrow revelation 2. And I got it back all scratched up I don’t have too much experience with Revelation 2, I know I don’t like revolution 1 And Clash of ninja 2 is my favorite

Nah it was more accurate when sasuke spent the majority of the fight stomping Naruto in base. It showed who was more powerful base to base, and it showed who needed external power ups the most.
So an anime game with sidestep,movements,oki,combos,juggling,supermoves,stage shift. Damn, if only they improve on this formula instead on focusing only on arena fighters. What could have been. A Tekken/SF Naruto style game.

This was almost perfect considering how the game functions. One tiiiiiiiny complaint: Falcon Drop wasn't what triggered Naruto's transformation here.
