ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരുപാട് സമയം idling ഇട്ടാൽ engine efficiency ഉറപ്പായും കുറയും. ഒരുപാട് negative effects ആണ് എഞ്ചിനിൽ സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്..
Carbon deposit in piston rings, DPF blockage in diesels, increased blowby (compression leak), reduced efficiency, reduced power output, cylinder glazing, incresed engine wear, അങ്ങനെ കുറേ കാരണങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകും.
