Turn Off the Auto mode On.. Then its exactly same like C6 and catches similar speeds but on wired C6 is nowhere near and A6 has comes with more added features.
I am using A6 for more than a week now ....it's working fine and no issues ...

i think those testing should be more accurate with smart connect off. bcz as per your review you told that in second floor a6 become worst, but that's run on 2.4Ghz an one runs on 5, it's not right. i have tenda ac10, c6 and a6 v3, as per testing all router perform similar except tenda's 2.4, its bad. did you set both router channel to a non over lapping channel? did you turn on mu-mimo and beamfoming? during testing does your internet not used by anyone? did you update your both router firmware? did you turn on smart connect for both router? did you unwrapped antena's plastic? does your naighbour have any wifi which can be create interference? you didn't tell anything in your 'Review'.

@@RajeshKumar-gn9gq absolutely. Go with it. Remember remove all plastic wraps of antena for best performance and always turn off smart connect for satisfaction speed. A6 v3 is now my primary router.

There is no difference between a6 v3 and c6 v3. Both are using Mediatek mt7621 dual core processor, which provides shitty 2.4 Ghz range in both routers. In c6 v2.x they were using Qualcomm Atheros which was a single core but better 2.4ghz provider.
Today I ordered a6 v3.
Unfortunately, there are no routers in 2500/- range which can give gigabit port and provides good range for both 2.4 and 5 ghz

I bought archer c6 10 days back...It has frequent "no network access" issue. I got it replaced but still facing the same issue. ISP is saying that this is a router issue but am not able to understand how come 2 routers are having the same issue.
Please help how I can solve this. Thanks in advance
Change provider. I had the same issue and my provider told me the same thing and made me buy a router from him. It didn't change anything, next month changed the provider itself and both routers were working fine.

I’m a bit confused here. My router looks exactly the same I received today and it’s C6 v3.2 and not A6. I expected C6 v2 but got v3. What’s with this weird naming convention?
I don’t want smart connect so I have separate signals on and the range is quite good. I’ve a 100 Mbps plan and I get 60-70 Mbps one floor above too.

C6 has good wifi coverage than A6 because C6 has an internal antenna which A6 lacks. Both A6 & C6 support one mesh function. To use A6 or C6 as a mesh wifi, do we need to buy extra device?
