wow didn't know he was actually on tour. What a voice...
I hadn't either and we lucked out! My cousin won tickets for donating to our local children's hospital so he got awesome seats! He really didn't miss a beat the entire concert. Check to see if he's coming to your area. I know he's doing like 12-13 shows in October alone.
Put down your phone and listen just listen…Phil is a legend.
I got to listen then and now I get to remember the experience for my entire lifetime! And you're right, he is a legend.

I was there as well, great performance, and loved his son playing drums for him!!
Nice! And yeah, I loved when they were drumming on the boxes together and his son giving him a hug after the piano performance. Just cool to see that and they both seemed to really have fun with it all.

@@DlNKYDANA No problem. Yeah all of his songs were good. You could definitely tell he had to make the extra "effort" medically and almost grimaced when trying to sing a couple of the songs, but he and the band still made everything entertaining.
Man he still sounds pretty good! Would love to see him at some point. Without a doubt one of my all-time favorite artists.
He's going on a lot of tour dates so definitely check to see if he'll be coming near your area. Well worth it!

I entertain myself by picking a song that I want to hear on my last day of life. For some odd reason I had always picked the classical piece Bolero. It has the same effect as this song but more drawn out to its crescendo. This is my new Bolero! I always imagine slowly walking to the end like Phil has done to get to the drums.

Awesome... but please tell me you weren’t the ‘Oh Lord’ guy...
Dude, that guy was sooooo wasted! I felt terrible for the girl next to me who says, "Oh my goooood". She was such a huge fan, knew all the words, and got stuck next to a drunk guy that couldn't even stand up and tried sleeping on our seats while we were standing. We reported him to the security and he got kicked out of the concert, but unfortunately it was already half way through it :(
Hate drunks! We were lucky, I got seats on the end of the row, everyone around us was nice, and there was no one really behind us at all.
@@MS3DALE Overall it was a really decent crowd. Just figures I got stuck right next to that guy. The seats were excellent so totally worth being up close, but still. Eh, what can ya do? Just ignore it as best you can and enjoy the show! It does kinda make me laugh listening back on it though since he really was just super into it lol
