I completely agree with you, that live acoustic version of Catharsis is absolutely beautiful... Being a Maidiac for around 2 years now, that is the first time I have seen them not performing in their Maid costumes... So refreshing. And that live version of Real Existence is absolute fire. Nice reaction! The acoustic song is from an all acoustic online show they streamed on Christmas Day. It was an excellent concert with 14 songs. They kept the entire concert interesting by changing the groupings of the members as follows:
7 songs played by the entire band
2 songs with only Saiki (lead vocals) and Kanami (lead guitar)
2 songs with the trio of Saiki, Kanami and Misa (bass)
2 songs with Miku (vocals, rhythm guitar), Akane (drums) and Misa
1 song with Saiki, Miku and Akane on the cajon.
If you're interested the archived stream is still available for purchase and viewable until the end of March. It also includes a second separate stream with all 5 members commenting and is English subtitled. It gives us a really great view at how these ladies interact with each, their great chemistry and is hilarious.
By the way, the guitar Kanami is using is an Alvarez Yairi
"Real Existence" (live) is one of my fav videos because my fav dark sisters are having fun on stage. There was an interesting episode behind it😁
Their Christmas acoustic concert was truly awesome. An archive ticket is available till March. I suggest you to watch it.
All 14 songs including "Catharsis" are great, I particularly loved "At the drop of a hat", "Sayonakidori", "Forward", and "Page"...and "Mirage" for Gary-san, of course😉
Great reaction to two great songs from Band-Maid! You might notice Saiki is without shoes at the start of "Real Existence", as she lost them crowd surfing the previous song. They were retrieved and she put them back on during Mincho's solo. That was what MISA and Saiki were kidding about when they got together on stage, as MISA is called the "Barefoot Assassin" and noticed Saiki was also barefoot, at that time, fun! "Catharsis" is beautiful done this way and just one of 14 wonderful tracks from the Christmas Day show. I feel you about getting things from Japan, I just got a Band-Maid t-shirt from their web store, and after shipping it was $65.00, the shipping was more than the shirt! Good look on your search!
Great reaction...So much fun watching these ladies....I saw them twice in NYC..I did the trip to NYC from Montreal in 2019...

Love your double reactions to Band-Maid. I can see why Kanami on lead would be inspiring to watch as you play guitar but be inspired by Miku on rhythm guitar too as she couldn't play until Kanami began teaching her...and look at her now! Another superb reaction to Band-Maid, first as Rock Goddesses and then as master musicians being sublime and perfectly precise. Merci beaucoup et au revoir!

In 'Real Existence', which for me is still one of the best live performances besides 'Moratorium', they just destroyed the stage and on Catharsis they played it so smooth and soulful. It's hard to believe that it's the same band at both performances. Unfortunately, there are so few bands left that can pull off this balancing act so well. The whole acoustic session that the ladies presented to us for Christmas is really something special from beginning to end. What else can I say about it? "Band-Maid doing Band-Maid things" and for all of it I just love these ladies.

Great reaction! I like how you praise guitars and vocals along with the rhythm section. Typical reactors overlook them and only talk about bass and drum. That’s not what Bandmaid is for the fans. Each one of them shines because they play together with their own music and arrangement. I think it is still better to order a poster from the official website!

Most of Band-Maid Posters are of Cartoon Character Drawings = Bummer. Maybe copy a photo from the internet and enlarge at a local copy store.
There is an interesting story about this video. In the song they played before it, Saiki was carried off stage (Crowd Surfing) and she lost her shoes. Saiki actually got lost in the crowd and Miku had to sing until Saiki made it back to the stage. On this song she is barefoot because she lost her shoes. In the middle of the song Misa, who is always barefoot, came up to Saiki while playing the bass and the two were smiling at each other because of the fact that Saiki was now barefoot. You can see her feet in the video. I may not have everything 100% correct but I have seen the whole concert.
Love Akane's hair...And Kanami's wee moonface!....She always looks like she is in her very own wonderland....So cute.

as far as i can see, maidiacs get a poster when they buy a single band maid cassette (new or old), if you are interested, visit their youtube channel, there is a hint to get what you want, i want to promote it in your comments column , but I'm afraid
just to point out that at the start of real existence saiki has just rushed back on stage from being pulled into the women's section of the crowd at the end of the song freedom. she gets back on stage wearing no shoes as they were lost in the crowd (they were later returned) all this caused a lot of amusement for Misa who plays barefooted anyway. she gets to put on her own outdoor shoes during Kanami's insane solo.

I have been a fan of Band Maid for 3 years, an this is the first time I have herd an acoustic song of theirs. Wonderful. And buy the way, someone from Texas. Thinks you are wonderful also. I have a crush for Misa, the Bare Foot Assassin. I love that expression, "NASTY". You are so cute.
They did this online accoustic 14 songs show visible till 25 mars on Zaiko Japan. In the past they did about 10 songs accoustic.
