Just an idea, dig you a drainage ditch from your chicken house and possible the water underground will drain away from the chicken house and run!
Great idea! He did talk about getting gravel and stuff in the last video, so maybe he will make a little trench around the coup to divert the water.

Get yourself a scrap bucket for your food scrap including egg shells to fee to your birds. Don't forget their regular food as well. Chickens are omnivores and will eat anything. Araucana hens lay beige, blue or green shelled eggs. There are other Araucana hens that lay the pink, orange or yellow eggs. There is a nice mixed breed of chicken, Leghorn and Rhode Island Red. A nice sized bird as well. I have no idea what colored the eggshells would be, but a nice looking bird. Yes, I grow up in the industry. My late grandparents used to have flocks from 12,000 to 16,000 birds.

We live on a small farm with 25 chicks. I have used the same incubator now for aout 5 times and really like it!! Works great. Only problem I have had is setting the days. I never do get that right.

I love this my daughter has the Easter egg we and the olive eggers as well she loves them and very good chickens and layer later as well. She has the silkys for her kids to do 4h with and now they are laying as well she has 25 normal size oh and she has Americana as well. Keep up the good content god bless your family and stay safe

We are going to "cheat" once we get our initial chickens. We're going to let a broody hen do the incubating & hatching for us. Also, planning on getting dual-purpose birds so we get both eggs and meat. Those reindeer sausages are the best. I'm going to hit the Costco Business Center in Anchorage tomorrow to restock😊.

Thanks for sharing. You mentioned the sun’s intensity. It gets real strong here, compared to NY. Closer to the equator I guess. Even though NY and FL are on the east coast, sunrise and sunset varies up to 45 minutes daily.
