General Santos City is the city where my family-in-law lives. My favourite city. I was there in 2018. So so good. I will never forget. Kind people and loving familymembers. What can be better. :)

I remember the time when Martial Law was in effect on Mindanao, almost everyone here at GenSan are having a good time with the military being present in the city. A 180° on how the people in Manila view the effects of Martial Law. We Generals are generally chill and enjoys life as much a possible. I'm glad you had a good time in our City.

My first trip to Gensan was in December and even the Filipinos I met at the airport seemed disgusted when even mentioning General Santos City. Actually, made me nervous to visit. After spending a week there, I fell in love and is truly my favorite part of the Philippines if not the small amount of the world I have had the opportunity to experience. Maybe it is due to me growing up in the countryside of California, but the vibe of the people, food, and scenery was absolutely surreal.

This place is beautiful, I moved to gen san a week ago and I was *AMAZED* by the beauty of the sea having no trash, beautiful blue and etc. I like it here except for the fact that this place has a *lot* of bugs
