I think you should give vip to epilepsy patients like me. I have epilepsy so I will never get the opportunity to get my drivers license. Why is it 18+ age? Because I’m 16 years old. So I think you should make teen Waymo! Just like Uber has.

The difference between an Uber and a Waymo is not what it can do now, but what they hope it can do in the future. Once the Waymo driver is good enough, the focus will move onto cost cutting. When the sensor suite is cheap enough, the cost per km will be low enough to make Waymo a valid alternative to owning a car.
The average car owner drive a car that is big enough to handle their once a year holiday. When you subscribe to a transport service the average vehicle size can match the average load. Imagine everybody swapping their SUVs and pickups for a small hatchback. That is the sort of optimization that is possible when you don't need to own your car.

Is waymo all over Florida now? How long will it be before it will be available all over for haling in Alabama? What I meant about Florida is for hailing not for camercial use. I know there was recently a truck that was advertised where a man clapped his hands and the truck was driving qt least for a few seconds on it's own but now that version of the truck has not been being advertised anymore.

I like riding on Waymo. I have had the chance to do about 200-300 miles so far, and I feel totally relaxed and comfortable while the car is taking me where I want to go. And I like not having to deal with a human drive and feel like it is my private space while on the ride. I can listen to what I want or nothing.. keep the windows closed and adjust the temp to what is comfortable for me. .
I think Zoox looks like the other most interesting and likely to be successful at Robo Taxi business. I really like their cars too. And Zoox is owned by Amazon.
i like the comparison of "lobster moment" to a "butterfly moment" (caterpillar turning into butterfly). I like the lobster moment better because the lobster goes through it multiple times in their life. And that is a good analogy for humans transitioning in life multiple times in their life, where as a caterpillar turns into a butterfly once in their life and then die. They don't do any more transitions in life after becoming a butterfly. But I get that the idea of butterfly moment is about transitioning to something beautiful. i think that works better for explaining kids becoming adults.

@@JestersHammer True but Tesla still doesn't take liability for their cars so it isn't self driving. These cars are self driving already. Tesla should add lidar to become more of a major player
